Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Teresa Morrow and I am a 37 yr old native Floridian. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading (two of my fav authors are Ed McBain and Candace Bushnell), cooking (love watching Food Network), writing (love the creative it brings), networking (enjoy meeting people) and yoga (keeps me in balance). My background is administrative however, I have been focusing more on 3 of my passions, reading, writing and connecting with others ---so I manage online promotion for authors, speakers, coaches and writers. I write for 2 blogs (along with my own)--Sparkplugging.com and The Small Business Guru.com on such subjects as virtual assistance, business growth, online promotion and networking. I look forward to meeting you all more in the future.

Sincerely,

Teresa Morrow

I'm a closet writer who decided at the beginning of this year to quit thinking about writing and get back to doing it, not for publication, but for myself. I challenged a fellow fallow writer friend to write at least 250 words every week. Each week we email each other our writing. Having a deadline may be banal, but it's the best inspiration I've found. 39 weeks in, and I'm still cranking away.

(As a recovering copy editor, though, I have to be anal and point out that it should be "Moms Who Write," not "Moms That." "That" is a relative pronoun used for things, not people. Yes, I'm one of those annoying grammar and punctuation people. I'll try to restrain myself.)

Hello! I'm so excited to find this group. Already gleaned great info from comments you've shared. I'm working on first full length fiction novel and am roughly half finished. Find that I'm easily distracted by twitter & twitter moms. But having fun!

Hi everyone,
I just joined the Moms that Write group today. I'm just starting my freelance writing career. So far I've only gotten a few gigs here and there, but that's ok because it gives me more time to blog and Twitter!
Looking forward to knowing all of you!

Hi Everyone! I just joined twittermoms today and am so excited to meet you all! This is such a great site! I have started writing a new age children's book and will probably self-publish. Has anyone self-published, then been picked up by a publishing house?
