Just launching my website for breast cancer book 'Even the eyebrows?' Please check it out and let me know what you think. It's there as a source of information for breast cancer patients, their family and friends.

Finished my 4th book, due out this September. It's about why wives are usually the ones who do everything better at home. I call it "the superior wife syndrome." Anybody out there know what I'm talking about???!!!

Are there any writers here who have a speaking platform? How did you start? What topics do you speak on?
Linda Marie Ford Comment by Linda Marie Ford on July 23, 2009 at 6:25am
Morning fellow scribes.
I'm Linda Marie Ford, newbie to Twitter (sorry if I'm doing this all wrong) and founder of an international party of online moms who only have boys, It's Good To Be The Queen
I send out a weekly address to over 4,000 Queens about the goings on in my castle as well as including the boy stories that have been sent to me over the years.
I also write for several on-line papers and until recently had my own column in Dallas Child, until the new editor decided to put it on hiatus (read kill) to make the magazine 'more sexy.' I swear those are her exact words. she lasted about 8 months there.
My book is a freakin' monkey on my back and I feel, as I do with most of my crazy projects, that I am flying blind by the seat of my pants. I submitted it to agents and got so-so response. I just need to organize it and get on with it. Any advice?
You can get further insight to my insanity and rantings on my blog
thank you, thank you. I may be new but I know you are a powerful group of mommies!

I'm participating in Blogathon and blogging for American Cancer Society in memory of my Grandmother who passed away Nov 10th 2007 from Colon Cancer. If you can sponsor me (donate) any amount, it will be very much appreciated! Is anyone else doing it? Maybe we can support each other and keep each other awake! If you have any stories about how Cancer has affected you, @ me!
