Hello everyone, in addition to being the mother of seven fabulous children and a writer, I own Partridge Hill Media.

PHM is currently growing despite the economy. We have work for freelance writers on topics including history, travel (family), homemaking, weddings and more. We accept writing samples and resumes, but please do not send queries for freelance work.

We are also accepting MSs for fiction and non-fiction. You may begin by sending a query letter, treatment and sample chapter. PHM is a Catholic-owned company. MSs need not be Catholic-themed, but should be aligned with Christian values.

We also have work for ad sales reps, photographers, illustrators, etc. Please feel free to pass along or message me for more information. You can also follow PHM's tweets @PartridgeHill.

Hi, I am a writing mom, what I write varies a great deal! Films, tv, books, blogs... Right now I am building a site for those working in literature and film who are interested in cutting out the middle man (eg publishers) and collaborating with different people on new media projects. Please come and add yourself to the collaborators list (its free of course) at http://www.thinkbankcommunity.me.
Also if you are a mom who enjoys yoga or just having a giggle with your baby we are relaunching yoga baby tv after Easter so feel free to drop in and give it a try! http://www.yogababy.tv.

If you live in the Houston area and are attending TLA (Texas Library Assn) convention this week, stop by The Final Twist Writers. Exhibit Booth 1744. We'll have a daily drawing and fun books for sale. :-)

Hi! I'm glad I found this group. I'm currently in the process of writing not one not two but three novels and a short story or two. I'm a member of FM Writers as well but it's nice to be in a group with mom writers too! I have several blogs and at least of one of them is on my personal page if you want to visit. Otherwise, I'm just happy to answer questions and hang out.

P.S. Lorna, my apologies, you ARE very talented.
