Hi, Ladies. I just posted to my blog about aging. And no, I don't know how to keep it from happening.

Sometimes you have to allow yourself to grieve and heal, Lisa. It depends. Some people are able to channel the grief into their work. But that doesn't work for everyone. Being a care giver is VERY draining. When my word well seems dry, I read old favorite books, the ones that made me want to write. I watch movies that stir my creativity and eat chocolate. **g**

Blog & Shake with My Philosophy!

What an incredible tool this social networking is! Whether it be soliciting potential clients, customers or merely connecting with people of similar interests and passions....it's all about marketing oneself and one's personal ideas....isn't it?
So much of social networking has become a battle grounds of do and don'ts, rules and stopping that potential "spam" artist from rearing it's ugly head. The art of blogging and conditional giving on the internet is something to be mastered. After all, "what is one person's garbage is another one's fortune."
I say "it's all good!" Work for your goal using all the tools at hand. Being a 50 year old mother of 3 kids, learning how to maneuver around the internet and research, connect, this is what we have been taught to do since our early childhood education in the library with those wooden draws holding index cards. Oye!.... Researching, improving, achieving, right?
Shake it up! That's my philosophy! In both body & spirit. After you have worked your mind and powered those finger tips on a keyboard reaching out to those around you, take a few minutes to work that body for your own personal musical health. Stay in touch and reach out to YOU! You deserve it!
As a person who has lost 100 pounds, I write and sing this song for you to walk...run...or simply
"bop on out" right at your computer.
At at tempo of 132 beats per minute, click link below and come on Shake to My Philosophy!

Hi all!
I'm new to twittermoms, and I'm an aspiring fantasy writer. I am a mom to 2 amazing girls ages 13 and 16.
I "officially" started writing about 3 years ago. I worked on my story for about a year, until my grandma took ill in late 2006. I put my writing aside to take care of her. She passed on Thanksgiving Day. I hadn't been able to write since. I've gone back to my story several times, but I get nothing, no inspiration.
As of late though, Finally!, I have a new character poking around in my head wanting a story of her own. Which is good since its been 2 years since I've been able to write. Hopefully she doesn't go into hiding on me :D.

This week is writing week for me. Have an article to write for a friend's blog, my own book, and some PR stuff to get done.

Just posted on my blog, too. Some woman at my gym had an affair and I learned how to be a better mom because of it. http://iamnoexpert.wordpress.com

Thanks for the visit!

Hi Ladies!

I just discovered this group and had to join! I'm a health psychologist and I write lots of articles, curriculums, and mostly academic/medical reports. I'm transitioning into writing books and materials that interest me (in other words, writing more for fun:) in the area of health and wellness for women, especially moms.

It's great to see so many other writers out here all in one place!
