Tammy: There is a way to heal from extreme panic attacks and anxiety. I have helped women like you for 33 years without pills and if someone is taking pills they can stop using pills within a short time. See www.drdorothy.net

Hello, I am a single mom of 2 girls who have special needs. I have suffered from extreme panic attacks, and anxiety for years. I have went through all the Drs, the therapy. I take only one medication for my panic attacks but there are times I wonder if I will ever overcome this. I feel at times less of a mom cuz of anxiety and panic attacks.

Hi everyone, I'm new to twitter but I am giving it my best. I am a single 43 year old latin female who is raising a 16 year old son. I have been dealing with Anxiety/Depression for over 10 years. I still get mild anxiety/panic attacks and wish that I can be free of this condition. I thank God that I have been able to deal with all of it with the help of professionals and medications. However, at this point I can't help but feel that I want to be free of this condition and/or side effects of the medications I have been using

Meg,
I did have tons of weight gain with Paxil, and it was HARD to get off of too! I don't recommend that one to anyone! I am now on something else that does not make me gain weight and is wonderful! If you would like to know what it is, you can email me! HTH!

Anyone have experience with weight gain on anti-depressants? Did you change med's? Diet? Excersize? Anything work? Thanks for sharing your experience!

Pregnant on Prozac – Antidepressants today top the list of drugs prescribed to women. But what happens when you add pregnancy into the mix? Pregnant on Prozac is the first guide to separate the myths from the facts.

Hi everyone....I'm Angela 43 yr old mom to 3 boys (14,18,21) and stepmom to 2 boys (10,13) and one girl (9). I'm so glad I have found this group. I've known for quite some time that something is just not right. Finally, got the nerve up to call someone yesterday to try and set up an appt to find out what is really going on with me. Still trying to work out the details with insurance right now.
Glad to meet all of you.

Dorothy, welcome to the sight. We haven't been terribly active lately. I suspect busy schedules all around. Thanks for your willingness to share expert info. By any chance do you have any statistics on returning vets and possible over diagnosis of PTSD? I am working on a research paper for a college level class. I read an article in a science journal a few weeks ago and it peaked my curiosity.
