Hi Ruthie,
The Operating System. No Windows. Its Leopard OS.
No virus', no lock ups, faster, easier, prettier, smarter.
Just better.
I use windows too. You can have both OS on one hard drive,
how cool is that. So when I need windows, for a particular
app I go to that side of my computer.
Pretty cool.
I get an Apple and a PC together.
I just love it.

PC only though. he has more control over everything. he's a film maker and uses Avid and Final Cut Pro(anyone looking for an editor?) and composes music on his Dell. for sound mixing he has contacts that do that for him and they all use Macs.

Hi All,
Yes, screenflow is excellent. I think the only reason I got ishowu was because it was cheaper. But looks like screenflow does more. I have been touring the site and downloaded it for free and its easy. Just like idvd and imovie. Really cool. Hate I spent the $42 on ishowu.

If he loves composing music, the apple garage band is the best ever.
My hubby can have a whole band at his fingertips. He loves it.

- we do have a dell pc which the hubs uses to play call of duty and compose music on. he prefers the software for doing that on pc. we don't have vista but xp.
