Moms without a Green Thumb!!

I have been landscaping for 20 + years. I have owned my own indoor plant business for 10 years and now own a landscaping company. I am here to help moms with their indoor or exterior plants. If I don't know the answer, I will hunt for it.

Hi Rebecca,
Its easy. Just store them in a dry cool place and they will be fine until next year. Even if you had planted them, just let them die back and dig them up and store them in a dry cool place.
Hope this helps.

I've got a question about flower bulbs. Unplanted, how long will they last and how should I store them? I've got several I didn't get to plant but I don't want them to go to waste. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
There are a variety of plants you can choose. Just choose your area and google the plants. I like HGTV, they have a lot of info. I will go look around online and check it out and update later.
Thanks,
Danie

That sounds amazing! I want to plant some of those as well. We already have lots of butterflies in the early fall, but I'd love to have plants here that they really enjoy being around :)

Yes, I plan to add more butterfly plants this year. We have a butterfly house near us and my little girl has fallen in love.

Hey Ladies,

I was with a bunch of friends this morning talking about new plants. Are there any new plants you're looking to put in your garden this spring?

Danie, can you please provide some tips on caring for a gardenia plant? We have a potted plant (large and doing well) in our backyard.
Also, when we bought our home, the previous owner planted 32 rose bushes. There are 8 in the front yard and 24 in the back. They're beautiful and we plan on keeping all of them. I was told that there's a solution (I have it printed) to mix up and add to the soil which works well. I also sprinkle epsom salt to retain the color.

Well I did get out some bulbs a couple of weeks ago. Nothing more than digging a hole, putting the bulb in and some bulb feed right? I also planted some potted roses. Uh...we'll see how that goes.
