Morning all!
Yes I do use a fuible interfacing on the back.
I iron the fusible on the the fabric, do the trace stitch, cut off extra fabric and finish the stitching.
Why? I tried it both ways with and without. I do a honeycomb on a shirt for and Granndma's Honey's shirt I do and have found that without the fusible the fabric starts to pull out an fray after a a few washings and on a shirt that takes me roughly an hour to stitch I don't need this kind of headache after only a few washings. I thankfully was told this by my mom who is alwasy willing to test drive my samples when her grandkids names are all over it. LOL I have posted a photo of a couple of the shirts I've done.
