I love movies. I get overloaded with work, kids and chores and watching movies is my release. Some of my favorites are:
Pretty woman
Some kind of Wonderful
Breakfast at Tiffanys
The notebook
Star Wars
August Rush

I can watch Pretty Woman over and over and over. I also love all Star Wars movies, Gone With the Wind, 27 Dresses, PS I love You, August Rush, The Holiday, Never Been Kissed, just about any Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock movie, and any thing that will make me laugh and put me in a good mood.

Looking for some good movies to rent. Lately it seems like I've seen every thing that comes up when I search. Any one got any good ideas? I don't care how old they are.

I love all the movies above. I wasn't feeling well over the weekend, so had the opportunity to lie in bed and watch a few movies. One that came on Sat & Sun was "The Holiday" with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. This movie is so funny and touching. I wanted to kick Kate's character up one side and down the other. Finally towards the end, she found strength and booted that lousy "boyfriend" out the door. Loved Cameron's character especially when when she met Jude Law's character. His smile was luminous!

I can go on and on listing all the movies I just love. Pretty Woman is a classic and I never get sick of watching that movie. Also love The Holiday (are you embarrassed by this game I've started to play?) So funny...

I have a few good movie ideas; hopefully you haven't seen them already.

1. Notes on a Scandal (a shocker, great cast)
2. Gangs of New York (excellent)
3. Rachel Getting Married (surprisingly good; very well writte, great cast)
4. Waitress (not what you think, pleasantly surprised, also a great cast)
5. Orange County (can watch over and over and over)
6. Walk The Line (loved it)
7. Changeling (so so so good)
8. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (sad and inspirational - good story)
9. What Happens in Vegas (just dang funny; there's references of junkpunching and everything - love it)

Ok, I'll stop there.

LOVED Notes on a Scandal and Waitress. Rachel Getting Married has been on my to-see list for quite some time. I really need to make a point to try to watch it.

Yes, please make a note to yourself to get Rachel Getting Married. I now see what all the fuss was about. Can't wait to hear what you think of the movie.

Rachel Getting Married made me cry uncontrollably for hours. I had to watch a comedy afterward to stop the waterworks. It was *very* good but if you're like me, only watch when you're in the mood for a good cry.
