Hi all - just saw Coraline w/ our kids (7 & 10) on the weekend. I was worried our l7 year old would be a little scared, but he loved it. There are some scary/creepy moments, but it is an excellent film - very well done. A good reminder to kids to be happy with what they have.
Cheers,
Roz

Good morning movie lovers! This week's movie review column is up, and your comments earn you entries into this month's giveaway: a 3-month give subscription to Netflix! You can either use it yourself, or pass it on to someone else as a gift from you. I don't mind!

Just saw and loved Vanity Fair. A beautiful character piece. Much more morally complex than other movies of that genre.

Hubby and I took kiddo to see "Madagascar 2" yesterday and it is totally cute! I don't remember the last time hubby and I both laughed at a movie so much.

I went this past Monday and saw "Four Christmases" on my own and it was great. It may turn into one of my favorite Christmas movies.

Wall-E is so cute!! I didn't think it would be too cute for my 14 y.o. son but he wouldn't try it to find out. Silly kid. Should I get a Blu Ray player? Is it totally awesomely worth it?

I just watched Dragon Wars with my two boys. It was only okay. Slightly better than a B rate. The boys weren't even that thrilled with it. The computer generated dragons were pretty good, but the acting wasn't so hot and the story like was quite confusing for a young kid and it's a PG rating. If you have an hour an a half in your life that you dont mind totally wasting, then check out this film. If not - then I'd pick something else...
