Great to be here! I'm personally more moderate who generally leans more toward the right, but after 8 years I'm ready to lean toward the left for a while! :)

Hubby has been doing some volunteering for Obama at the campaign hdq in Nashville and he loves it!

It's nice to be here. I hail from a Red State-- but our GOTV efforts have brought the Dems in my county within striking distance of the GOP. It's an exciting time- finally a candidate to be proud of! My daughter has raised $675 for Obama, selling candy bars at school. Please understand, Hannah is painfully shy, and it's her first year at a new school, and there she is- asking strangers to buy candy for Obama. It's a beautiful thing.

Hi Cindi, Palin is just making my skin crawl. I tried to be open-minded when she joined the ticket. I mean she is another Mom, a successful woman and all(not that I considered for a second voting for the ticket). She has proven to be a scary individual. She is an extremist, and in my mind there is no room in Govt. for extremists. The whole 'boycott NBC' thing because she can't handle being made fun of is ridiculous too. She seems to be a diversion, taking our scrutiny from McCain. I imagine you have taken some flack if you have criticized her, her support base is good at squelching dissent. I sure hope Obama can pull it off in November.

I hope some people join:) anxious to hear everyones thoughts on
how the race is going in your hometowns. McCain and Palin were in
my neck of the woods today as is Katie Couric. Anxious to see how
Obama is polling today.What are your thoughts on the failure of the
Bailout Bill?
