The irony of all this is "they" claim Obama is a terrorist. What are "they" doing? Is it not a form of terror, or hate? From what I've seen of Obama supporters, they see the hope and potential for unity and growth. I live in a red part of a blue state. It is scary listening to the vehemence coming out of the reds mouth.

Wow Tabi, I am so sorry to hear that your house was egged. Sadly, Ia m not surprised, there is a lot of hate out here. I am hopeful that we will see a lot of it go away during Obama's presidency! Your comment really touched me and I am so proud that you are steadfast in your beliefs in an unfriendly environment, that takes a lot of courage! I say the same to you Anne! All we can do is keep on keepin' on!!!

I have been praying for unity and saying a special prayer for the Obama family every night.

I hear you, Tabi! I live in Texas, and feel a bit like a fish out of water. But that's ok - we're in the driver's seat now!

I dont care what anyone says or thinks I am going to let my my voice heard. If you hate me or dont like me then your not my real true friend. I live in Oklahoma a republican state where I cannot express my beliefs I feel in danger here supporting Obama. I had a Obama signs on my door and had my house egged. I held Obama signs on a street corner for 2hours and people yell mean things to me. Thats okay I will just wear my Obama buttons on my shirt. Thats fine because we did we won it is time for change I am sick of making the rich richer and the poor poorer and giving taxs cuts to people who make over $250,000 a year and nothing to the middle class. I am sick of paying over $13,000 a year in taxes and just try to get ahead every day of our lives and going no where. This is the first time at 29yrs I have ever cared about politics because I realized that I cannot continue to function in this failing economy Clinton took 8years to fix and Bush 1year to demolish. What was the point of a stimulas check? To get us in deeper debt with China and the rest of the world? And why isnt anyone saying a word about the gas prices that took 2years to raise to $4.50 a gallon and dropped to $1.89 in a week before election? Does that tell you the republicans really do have power of the pump and they made a deal with the oil companies when Obama gets in office they will raise back up and everyone will hate him? Whatever. Why didnt they drop the gas prices this summer when we really needed it to actually go see our loved ones? It just proves they have been ripping us off this whole time. Whatever I am a woman, a blonde woman and nobody takes me seroius so be it, but I have followed along and watched everything every debate and watched Obama be made fun of as he just took it so humbably, it wont be overnight but now there is hope in the future. I cried and cried my eyes out at Obama acceptance speech and I think it was truely a historic time a piece of history I will tell my grandchildren about. He is so wonderful so easy to grasp and understand I honestly like him better than Clinton and I thought Clinton was the best president of all time. Its about time for change why in the world are we going to vote for the same players in the same game of broken politics? McCain agreed with over 90% of Bush views and decisions and we are all sitiing here broke in a recession with no money and lost jobs? Brainwashed. So I say tonight on this truely amazing historic night in history you did it Obama I love you so much and God Bless this Mans road and jorney ahead to lead our great country and may the Lord protect him as he is literally giving his life over to America as the First US Black President.

Omy! I needed to find this group sooner. I'm tired of all the whiny babies on other social networks and forums. I only have nasty venting things to say, right now.
Yay! Obama won! Isn't that fabulously exciting?
