I just got Photoshop elements, and am clueless so far. I need to take some time to play with it, and read through all your comments here. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions once I get started.

Dani, I'm sorry, I didn't see your comment earlier! What don't I like about PSE6? The big thing is you can no longer drag FROM your bin onto your layout that is open in the workspace. In 6 you have to open the item (paper or element) in the workspace and drag TO the layout in the bin. NO idea why they changed that, tried to get an answer from my sources at Adobe and they had no idea either, but told me that objections were filed from the digiscrapper contingent but they weren't holding out hope that it would be changed back. Anyone have 7 installed yet? I haven't heard they reversed it, so I'm guessing not. I really have to find time to install PSE7 and check it out!

Just got PSE 6.0 in August...still learning...and playing around with it. Love it tho'!

Cool. I just downloaded Photoshop to use with my card business.
And it works fantastic.

Jenn, what do you not like about PSE6? I have never used any PSE programs before when I bought this one.

I agree with PSE7, though if you can get your hands on a copy of PSE5, it might be way cheaper and still plenty good to get you going. I don't like PSE6 - I think 7 is a small improvement, but they still didn't change some things I wasn't happy with. I find I go to 5 when I need to use PSE instead of PS.

Jens4him, the newest version that just came out is PSE7....that's what you should purchase. It's the best money I ever spent!
