Hmmm. Maybe border wasn't the right word.

On this picture, see how the edges fade out. That is what I am trying to do.

not sure, you want the photo to fade or the border? Can you link us to an example where someone else did it?

What I have been trying to do is make a border around a picture and have it fade out.

Does that make any sense?
