Christine: Did you know that poetry can be a form of therapy? Well, according to the National Association for Poetry Therapy, poetry is a legitimate form of therapy.

Edgar Allen Poe wrote some pretty "dark and deep" poetry like in his poem A Dream Within a Dream. But today he is considered a poetic master. Keep writing! Don't be afraid to be you!!

Angie: I took a look at Ustream!!! Thank you for sharing this!! Poetry and Chocolate is a great show!!! I even signed up for a show...More on that later!! My hubby had a webcam that was still in the box and collecting dust!! Thanks for the info...You took me on a 3 hour journey...now I'm back!! I LOVE it when posts do that...It was well worth the journey...Thanks and come often & Share often...

I'm not a huge expert on poems, or much of a creative writer, but I do enjoy them. I particularly like the poetry readings on Ustream. Have you watched? It's called Poetry and Chocolate.

Thank you for inviting me into the group! I love reading and writing poetry, have all my life. Though most of my poems are a bit dark because I tend to write more when I"m sad, but I'm trying to work through that too. Thanks for the group!

Thank you Syn, for the invite to the group. You're amazing. I had thought about a poetry group, but my mind is in so many other places that I have to choose where to lead and where to follow. In this case, I am choosing wholeheartedly to follow and support. I will ask questions and help start discussions where I can.
