My name is Heather. I love to cook. My hubby's friends all love to eat at our house. My specialties are large quantity items: Taco Soup, Chicken and Dumplins, Chicken Casserole. I'm also getting good at baking. Now that I'm working a new job I'm learning that the Crockpot is my best friend. We're trying to cut our eating out expenses. We were in a bad habit of eating out every other night. We've cut it to once a week. I need lots of recipes to try different things.

I am here and I am not leaving until I have some new recipes to add to my menu this week! I am getting in that rut where I can't think of anything good to make and I am dreading shopping and most of all I am hating cooking lately because of this.
When I am done scoping out the recipes I will add some of the ones I am oh so tired of and maybe someone here will enjoy them...for a while. lol

I used to have an index box with all dinner ideas on and I would just skim through and create a weekly menu, I don't know whatever happened to that system.

Hi my name is Deborah and I love to experiment in the kitchen. I don't often leave myself enough time to put together a great meal but I do love to cook. My fiance says I'm a much better cook than when he met me - I've always been a good cook. He just finally realizes it :-)

I used to hold dinner parties for all my college friends - my kitchen was always the meeting place for our get togethers. That stopped after I moved back home to live with my aging parents. Never quite got started again. I have a large family and it's not unusual to see 20 people around my dinner table at Christmas. Family weekends at the cottage usually find me cooking for 13+ - I love getting my nephews in on the fun. They're becoming experts at making pizza dough and pasta from scratch - especially the part where they get flour all over my nose :-)

Look forward to sharing ideas with you!

~ Deborah :-)

Hi all! My name is Vanessa and I'm a married mom of three. I am always picking up new recipes to make life easier. I work out of my home office, but often prefer to have dinner cooking throughout the day. I love my Turbo Cooker & crock pot, and I am a fan of one-pot meals. I look forward to getting involved in the group and adding your pointers to my table.

I was in that same rut a few months ago, I think since our kids are a little picky. I have been paying attention to restaurant commercials on TV to get some ideas. Anything that appeals to me, I make and serve, only cheaper!

Hi! I am Nina, mother of 5 boys and lucky fiancee to a great man who loves when I experiment with dinner. I love to grill out and have people over and most of what we cook is made from scratch. I am looking for new things to try out and put my little twists on them. Hope to find some good stuff here!
