My friends is pregnant right now, and I want to bring a meal after the baby arrives. What are some good recipes? Ideally something that they can just put into the oven and eat, or put in the freezer for another night. Healthy food would be a bonus!

My Confetti Rice is always a big hit, it travels well and all you have to do is reheat. It is posted at my website. http://junkfoodkids.com

Ah - I remember when I had my daughter years ago...She was born in May and my dad had been on a fishing trip, he drove from his trip straight to my house in San Francisco so he could cook fresh trout for me...I still believe that was the best trout. It was super fresh, but best of all the love my father put into it...anyway - given the season I am always up for soup. It's tasty, easy to re-heat and freezes very well..A recipe for "harvest soup" is at:
