Hello Lorna,
Often we see representatives of various products and services across many industries that proclaim to be the best opportunity for as many reasons as there are companies.
The funny thing is this: The legitimacy of a company and the quality of the product is only half the problem.
The other problem, assuming all other things equal, is how well you will learn to market and sell the product. Many companies gives these claims of products that virtually sell them selves or are in such high demand and focus mainly on motivating reps to talk to more people.
What more business owners, especially home based business owners need right now is an education in sales and marketing. More specifically in "Attraction Marketing" where you learn how to position your self and business in front of a hungry crowd already looking for it. Topics like how to identify your true target audience and how to connect with them is training that is sorely missing from most "Businesses In a Box" I've seen.
How do you compensate for this lack of training with the people who join your sales team?
