Hi Ladies! Come on in, the water is fine! Introduce yourself and tell us where you're from!

I'll go first. I'm Angie and I live in Chino Hills, just 40 miles east of Downtown L.A. I originally grew up in Kansas City but relocated after I got married. My husbad Michael and I have been married for 17 years and we have 2 children, Michael, Jr. and Nicole, ages 16 and 13 respectfully.I like walking, scrapbooking and reading. Someday I hope to travel to Tuscany, Italy, run my first 5k and create world peace. Sorry, couldn't resist those last 3 words. : )

I created this group so that Moms all across the "Southland" can network, discuss, tell stories, share opinions, chat, brag about our kids and finally find the answer to that burning question every SoCal Mom wants to know----"Where can I go to get a really good mani-pedi?"

Hi Angie & SoCal Moms...while we love the rain...we are going a bit stir crazy. Yesterday we went on a playdate to a friends garden. Somehow, in between the rain we managed to pick snap peas and chard and gather eggs from their chickens. Such a treasure! Today we are finishing a volunteer project for our school, Waldorf of SD, as our Kindergarten classes are preparing to recruit the 1st grade teacher. Such an important task as the teacher will be committing the next 8 years of their life to these 28 developing minds and souls. Now that we have that out the door - we are going to head to the park....rain or shine!

Hi SoCal Moms! My family and I live in San Diego. We've only been here about a year and have settled in the suburb of La Mesa. I have 3 girls, twins age 6 and little one age 4. They all attend Waldorf San Diego. While I am a stay-at-home Mom, I run my own business that helps families get out of debt and supports their business efforts to be successful. Please visit my website at www.deletinginterest.com. I am looking forward to hearing about what you all do and engaging with you.

Hello SoCal Moms. I was raised in Los Angeles, mostly the San Fernando Valley. I got married in 2000 and moved down to North San Diego County, then moved to Temecula and back to North San Diego County and now I am back in Temecula. I did escrow for 13 years and in November was laid off. I am trying to go back to school to learn something else while also getting back to my art. I have a 7,5 and 2 year old. I am learning to be a stay home mom now. Very hard for me since I had always had daycare for my kids. New learning experience for me. Anyways I look forward to getting to know the group. Take care and God bless.

Hello mothers! I'm a mother of two college students & one of them is in college in Southern California...so does that make me a SoCal mom? My daily parenting days are over. However, I am so passionate about parenting. I worked full-time in the corporate world and while at it modeled fitness and healthy eating for my daughters.

I love sharing my experience and providing information to others. I've now left the corporate world and started Chef-K, culinary health education for kids. I'm really concerned about all of the diet related health issues out there. So I've developed fun after-school programs and summer camps to teach kids and their families about nutrition, food safety, and hands-on cooking techniques. My clients include schools and organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts and even the US Air Force youth programs.

I'm happy to participate and provide opinions on anything from chores, to all things food-related including cooking, lunches, healthy snacks and generally juggling life while raising kids.

I love life and people. I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, cooking (it can be a zen experience), yoga, entertaining and networking. Here's to mom's supporting our future generations in a thoughtful way.

Hi,

I'm Bridget and I live in Carlsbad. When I can, I blog about family travel at www.familyadventureguidebooks.com. I live close to Legoland, so I decided to write a book about it, The Unauthorized Legoland Guidebook. Hoping to sell a copy soon. I also run an Environmental Health and Safety Consulting Company, Class7Training with my husband. I'm mom three ages 4, 5, and 9. I'm a Southern California transplant. Was a northern California girl for most of my life and moved here three years ago. For the most part I love it here although I miss Santa Cruz and head back there at least once a year to visit old friends. I would be happy to answer any Legoland questions you might have.

Looking forward to learning more about all of you.
