I'll go first. I'm Angie and I live in Chino Hills, just 40 miles east of Downtown L.A. I originally grew up in Kansas City but relocated after I got married. My husbad Michael and I have been married for 17 years and we have 2 children, Michael, Jr. and Nicole, ages 16 and 13 respectfully.I like walking, scrapbooking and reading. Someday I hope to travel to Tuscany, Italy, run my first 5k and create world peace. Sorry, couldn't resist those last 3 words. : )

I created this group so that Moms all across the "Southland" can network, discuss, tell stories, share opinions, chat, brag about our kids and finally find the answer to that burning question every SoCal Mom wants to know----"Where can I go to get a really good mani-pedi?"

I recently -last 9 weeks-have released 29 lbs of unwanted adipose flab that I have been carrying for 10 years with an incredible weight control program called Take Shape for Life. What a program!! I am never hungry and the weight has just fallen off. I a excited to be 60!!

I work as an engineer, but will soon be another casualty of the recession since I will be laid off in June. My husband is a business owner in Arcadia, CA. Anyone from around there? The business is called Kids Island, www.kidsislandinc.com. It is an indoor playground geared for kids ages 0 to 7 years old. It would be a great location for mommy meet ups or kids birthday parties. I am here to get the word out on our business since it will be our only income. Do you know of any other mommy groups that might be able to take advantage of Kids Island?
