A comment about loved ones who are still around us... as a medium, I am a witness to the profound healing that takes place with people when they know their loved ones are safe and blissful on "the other side." But there is also healing that takes place for the deceased loved one (DLO) when they are given the chance to forgive or be forgiven, to express words of love, or give advice. But also be aware that some DLOs aren't just here visiting; they haven't crossed yet. It is always in the best interest of the DLO to cross over, so they can begin a new chapter in their "lives."
In either case, healing is the main focus and communication is key. Everyone is a medium to some degree, and can communicate with DLOs. Our DLOs are still with us. Death is a misnomer. It is really a transition, and the relationship is still the same, just a little more "long distance" in our human view. :)
