Well I can't give you definite times but here's a day at my house

kids up, breakfast, read a chapter to them during breakfast while feeding baby

stripe beds, start wash, start school

spend morning doing school, wash, maybe dishes, and some computer time
make lunch do dishes clean
finish up school, wash, dishes, clean

make supper

clean up, play with kids
put kids to bed around 8
crochet
entertain dh crash anywhere between 9-10:30 depending on the night

all this happens with 5 kids: 8, 6, 4, 2, 9 months so things can get a little hairy. Also errands are done after lunch and before we pick up school again

3. Kelley Oliver Douglass

Kelley is a working mom who telecommutes across the country. She has four children.

Oh you all are amazing! I am new to the group so forgive me if I "mess up!" hahaha. . . I read your entries and realize that I'm not alone out here - thank you thank you for reminding me of that. . .

I'll share my day for the heck of it. . .

3am - baby's awake (2.5 months old), go check and ensure she's ok - rock, rock, rock her back to sleep ....
she so can make it to 5am without a bottle

3:30am - realize I've made it to family room chair with babe in arms - we both doze

4am - 4 year old appears, "Mommy - I'm thirsty. . ." Baby is asleep - back in crib; I make it to bed - pass out.

5am - baby back awake - time for a bottle

5:45am - back to bed - pass out for another hour

6:45am - husband rouses me, "Want me to take kids to school today?" Well, Yes. . . as a matter of fact I do.

7:37am - rouse myself - rustle to kitchen, kiss everyone and grab breakfast (which hubby made - 2 points for him today) while I clean up his amazing breakfast mess. Is it me or do men just not "clean up as they go along"?

8am - kiss eldest daughter (9 year old) good bye as she heads to school with Dad --- 4 year old son waits with me for Nanny to arrive and take him to school . . .Nanny who is chronically 10 minutes late. . . Dad heads to work . . "See ya. . "

8:10am - guess who's here? Lovely Nanny . . . she takes him to school with baby in tow. I simultaneously clean up rest of amazing breakfast mess, make coffee and check email as work is right ahead of me.....

9am - welcome back nanny . . coo at baby, realize amazing breakfast mess still here, powerpoint presentation 1/3 way done and did I ever make coffee?

10am - 11am - jump fully into work office (I'm just back from Maternity Leave this week). I'm a telecommuting mom who works from home - but did I mention my "office" is now eldest's bedroom so my "office" is the corner of my bedroom (right next to that lucious piece of furniture called 'my bed' and / or the kitchen desk (depending who's home). Barrel through emails, figure out where business is headed for me for 2009, coo at baby, look for coffee. . .did I ever make that coffee?

11am - 1pm - meetings, meetings, meetings ---- email, review 2009 and what tradeshows my company can afford to participate in. . .can't afford NOT to participate in (I'm an event planner . . . latent side effects of job include OCD . . . sigh)

1pm - 2pm - painfully peform 10 sit ups and some lunges - hope that passes for exercise - finish sterilizing bottles (don't I have a nanny to do this while I work?), keep laundry karma going. coo at baby . . .wonder if it's too late for more coffee or some form of caffeine. . .

3pm - pray kids had a great day at schools, jump back into work, including quick discussion with "work husband" (does anyone else have a work husband? sometimes so much better then the home one! ha!)... edit review document outlining "what did Kelley do in 2008 to deserve a raise which we won't give her anyway because the economy is where it is" . . .

3:30pm - about this time call Hubby, "What do you want for dinner?" Receive reply which usually goes like this: "I'd like rack of lamb with fresh asparagus. . " Scratch my head and wonder whose reality he is living in

4pm - 6pm --- welcome kids back, lots of hugs (while on a conference call - still working!) and snuggles - wonder about more caffeine, coo at baby! remind them of golf lessons, lunches to be packed and don't foget to do homework !!! Take next conference calll and slink back into bedroom . . . that bed is calling me.

6pm - 7pm --- kick Nanny out the door, finish dinner patrol, get kids (2 out of 3) fed, into / out of baths, start moving baby quickly into her bathtime as she's going to melt down for bottle soon! Wonder if hubby is coming home soon and will he like my "Rack of Lamb" (which is really Spaghetti. . .ha!)

7p - 8pm - get baby fed while older kids Wii in the family room, quickly get baby into bed, Hubby's home ("Daadddyyy!") - get him eating and asking "Are you going to join me?" HHmmmm. . .that means I'd be totally off getting kids in bed. . . and finally making it to the "me" time. . . answer: "Oh gee hun. . I have stuff to do. . "

8pm - 9pm - get older two loved, tucked in and ready for another fun day tomorrow. . .gently get 4 year old BACK to bed at least once. . . convince him that the baby is ok. . . maybe grab some food for me while cleaning up dinner mess (not so amazing as I clean as I go along!)

9pm - get breakfast laid out for morning - hope it's Tuesday and Simon Baker (The Mentalist) is on TV. . .nice reality break. Where's the wine?

10pm - 11:30pm - doze off before "topping off the baby" and heading to bed at Midnight-ish. .

wow - someone teach me how to better get it all together! :)

4. Michelle Lee

Michelle is an online mommy blogger with four children.

Okay, here goes. I am not really going to be specific with times. I have 4 kids so times change every day.

I am going to start at 11pm. That is usually when I make it to bed. If I can sleep that is. Baby M shares our bed so I have to breastfeed her every 2 hours. She uses me more for a paci that actual nourishment during the night.

At 6am Superdad gets up and showers. Then my 2 older kids get up and get ready for school. Superdad usually fixes them a frozen waffle and then takes them to school.

I am up at 7am because the baby is ready to start her day. First thing I do is start the coffee. Then I get Lil O on the potty and in her panties. I then change Baby's diaper. Then I go potty as well. I then make up Lil O's bed and my bed. Pick up my husbands clothes off of the floor and hang things up. Clean up in my room and bathroom. Then I head to the kitchen and fix Lil O something to eat and give the Baby a handful of honey nut o's. I enjoy my cup of coffee while cleaning up the breakfast mess in the kitchen. Loading the dishwasher and planning my dinner. If it's a crock pot recipe I get that going.

Usually by this time Lil O wants me to dress her and brush her hair. Then I might as well dress the baby. Then I go to my teens room and do a 10 second tidy. Usually with my laundry basket. Then I head to the hall bathroom which is a DISASTER!! I clean up in there and hang up towels to dry.

By now I have to sit down and breastfeed the baby. Try to check my email. Write for various blogs and groups. Answer a few phone calls while enjoying my cold coffee by now. Then I head to my sons room and to a 10 second tidy there.

I will make my way downstairs to start laundry.

Coming up and then clean up the dining room. Maybe have another cup of coffee.

Then I head to the living room. All the while I am caring for a 3 year old and a 9 month old. Getting toys and and playing. I usually have to pick up and tidy in the living room from the night before.

By this time it's time to think about getting myself dressed. I usually take a quick bath while Baby watches. Then just hang out with the kids.

About time to think about lunch. Superdad comes home everyday for lunch so I have to prepare something for that. Clean up that mess. Work on dinner plans if need be. Change a diaper. Feed Baby some cereal or fruit. Laundry. Then I leave to get the kids from school. I leave at 1:30 and don't get back until after 3.

Fix snacks. Clean up. Help with homework. Work on blogs if kids will let me. Some days my son has scouts and others he has chess.

I have dinner ready by 5:30ish. Clean up kitchen and dining room. Get all 4 kids bathed and 2 ready for school. Hang out with kids usually while folding clothes. Turn down beds. Get kids in bed.

Not to mention all the diaper changes. Breastfeedings. I usually do a 10 minute tidy after kids are in bed. I might watch a little tv then I try to be in bed by 11.

Now if it's a cleaning day. I mop, vacuum and dust and do all of the above.
How's that??

This is really hard to vote for. i know i'm not voting for myself as i think most of you are more super than me.
Wow - tough choice. My vote is for Kelley.
Very tough choices. All these moms are great. I think my vote is for Liz.
I vote for Genel! I am a stay at home mom/nanny and I know how hectic it can be while dealing with all your mom/wife duties in the midst of caring for someone else's child.
Hi
You are all super mums. Voting is difficult since you are all doing an amazing job.
Since I have to vote for someone, I would vote for Michelle since my life is very similar.

Well done to all.
I think all you moms are super moms!! After thinking about this, my vote goes to Liz!
