Hello Ladies!

I have had people tell others I am very organized. I know that I'm not, or at least nowhere close to where I would like to be! More than once I've told people "I wish I could take a pill to be OCD", as I feel I am in a constant state of chaos.

With that in mind, I've been working full-time, working my PartyLite business and am a mom to a 3 year old. I consider myself laid-back and try to consider "will this really matter in the grand scheme of things?" I'm also getting very close to my work from home date, so know I need to be organized, structured and focused to achieve what I want. It's far too easy to "play office".

I'm new to twittermoms, and very excited to be here. It's obviously a busy place with lots of great ideas and help.

There are all kinds of shoe solutions. You can check out several sites: Online organizing has products. The container store is great. There are ideas of putting them in shoeboxes with pictures on the front to see them....or clear shoe boxes. That may be good for the shoes that you can't give up, but don't wear very often (personally I would go for the clear shoe boxes if you go that way)...but for your shoes you wear often there are many different shelves that you can stack on the floor to see them but get them off the floor. I think if you went through them all and really thought about the last time you wore them....are there even a few you could stand to part with? That might help a little bit too.

I was organized...then I had a baby ;) haha trying to get back to being organized...I feel so much better when everything is in it's place!!!!

Wow! What a group! Hello everyone! :) I'm definitely not organized but am in desperate need of quality time with moms who are. I'm going to read through everything and hope it helps me. My desk is usually a mess as is the rest of my living area. I run 2 businesses and have a little girl who has a busy schedule herself. Often it's either clean or work when I have "free" time!

Hi everyone! I wanted to ask if anyone has redone their walk in closet (master bedroom) without hiring a company to do the work. If so, how did it turn out? My husband is very handy and could handle the job himself.
