Sharing some great infertility blogs, some with a sense of humor, when we all need a laugh!

I came across these and just had to share. I know there is nothing funny about infertility, but I do believe "Laughter is the Best Medicine" and when we can find humor in any given situation, things don't nearly seem so bad. So with that in mind, check these out ~

A Taste of IVF Over 40 = http://ivfjournal.wordpress.com
This 40+ Austrialian blogger hasn't let being "an old woman, reproductively speaking" stop her pursuit of parenthood. Last I read she was starting her 5th round of IVF"

The A.R.T. of Being Infertile
http://artofbeinginfertile.blogspot.com
Five IUIs and three IVF cycles later, this 30 something blogger continues to use humor and art (check out the IVF-themed Christmas cards) to tell her story.

Fumbling Towards Eggstacy
http://fumblingtowardseggstacy.com
Convinced she still has some good edds left this 37 year old writer chronicles her third attempt at IVF, in spite of a diagnosis of unexplained infertility.

Pee-Sticks and Stones
http://peesticksandstones.wordpress.com
witty, edgy, and touching, this online journal follows the ups and downs of "Infertile Cinderella" and her adventures in New York City as she tried to conceive.

Stirrup Queens and Sperm Palace Jesters
http://stirrup-queens.blogspot.com
Blogger Melissa casts a wide net with posts that range from fertility treatment to baking. It's a funny account from this mother of twins (born with the help of fertility treatment), now trying to conceive her third child.

Enjoy!

Thanks for these great links. It helps to read the stories of other women who are in our shoes, and I welcome humor where-ever I can find it!

So glad you enjoyed. I believe we have to find a sense of humor in EVERYTHING we do or we'd be out of our minds> For example, I just gave my 4 year old a glass of grape juice (purple) mixed with OJ while he was watching Sponge Bob sitting on my white couch...What was I thinking?????!!? You know the outcome,
Oxyclean, Zout and the hose! *ugh*
LOL

Hi Meg,
I am new to Twitter and came across your sites on infertility. I am working on a book about infertility and how humor is the best tool for coping. Any feedback you have is much appreciated and please pass on, the more people that understand they aren't alone the better!
Regards,
Erin
