Please enjoy this "Musical Health Talk" 5:00 minute program I wrote and produced utilizing the 2009 winner of the WOR Radio Shining Star Talent contest, Michelle Raitzin" together with myself. While you listen...I encourage you to get on up and walk in place at your computer to experience "Musical Health!". The song I wrote is called "The New Kid" in the spirit of our first family's daughters. At 130 beats per minute (bpm) even if you are sitting in your chair...breath...inhale through the nose...exhale through the mouth...sit up nice and straight...abdominals in and up...dropping your shoulders. Enjoy and as always....Never Stop Movin'!

Are you a professional travel writer?

Hey All,

Ever heard about a magazine called the Robb Report? They specialize in luxury everything and just put out an amazing travel issue. I would love to write a family travel article for them, but DH pointed out that we simply don't have the appropriate clothing :). Guess their readers and writers don't shop at Walmart and NY&Co. Anyway, if you can find a copy check it out...fun to dream on :).

We just finished posting a list of 35 of the best always-available, always-free places to take kids in Manhattan during the winter.

http://www.kidcityny.com/blog/free-nyc/

If anyone has other suggestions to add, please let me know!

The requirements are that they be (1) places you can go without paying at least 6 hours a day (2) indoors (3) free and for the most part non-commercial (in other words we kept most big chain stores off the list).
