HI! I have a family of six and we love to travel. My husband is currently looking for a job in Alaska. If we are so lucky to be able to move up there we will be driving across the US and up through the Yukon (so excited)! Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us! Looking forward to meeting some new people on here. If anyone lives in Alaska, I would love to chat with you and get info from you :)

I am looking forward to a trip to Moab this weekend. We spent many, many weekends there pre-children, but this will be the first time with little ones. We will try some hikes and a bit of biking with the burly trailer. Does anybody have any suggestions, or experience in Moab with kids?

Has anyone used the Twinkle app for the Iphone? As I understand it, it has geolocation aspects to it. In other words, you can twitter a message to people in your location. Great for traveling don't you think? You could get some local recommendations for shows, food, secret parking places???http://tapulous.com/twinkle/

Hi TMs,
I love to travel. I would love to know where your favorite places are to go and your recommendations of favorite restaurants and shopping spots. I really liked Rachel Ray's show where she traveled and shared places to eat on a $40 a day budget. My favorite places to travel are Smokey Mountains, Annapolis Maryland and New York City. In New York, I love Little Italy to pig out on Italian desserts. In Maryland, I love a the little town of Deale to go crabbing for blue crabs. In the Smokey Mountains, I love to hike, photograph waterfalls and eat home-made fudge on the main street of Downtown Gatlinburg. The chalets on Ski Mountain are wonderful with all the perks.

Hi. I am new in here. I am looking for a nice beach vacation for my family of 5. I am on a budget of about $500 per person for air and hotel, so let me know if you have any good suggestions. I have never been out of the country, so i am totally new to this. TIA
