Thanks! I really enjoyed being part of it for the first several years! *smile

A great bunch of people dedicated to the cause. Both the founder, Kim Hahn and her partner (business partner) both had infertility issues. Kim ended up adopting and her partner and his wife did IVF and were successful. They both ended up with little girls.
Sweet.

Conceive Magazine is a great magazine. Very informative.

Since you just started your journey, and Birgitta Lauren (below) had some great advice, my next suggestion would be getting your hands on Conceive Magazine. I was on the launch team of that magazine and you can also check them out at conceivemagazine.com the link is

I know you will find helpful info there - the latest, up to date kits and devices to help you predict ovulation, etc.
Good luck!

I don't know what anyone's situation and lifestyle is like, but lifestyle choices can have a big impact on fertility. Exercise and better nutrition may be your answer. A fit body is more efficient at doing everything including reproductively, getting and staying pregnant until full term. Proper nutrition is crucial for conception and making a healthy baby, including a healthy diet and prenatal supplements. Elimination of stress and any toxic exposure (whether from drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, cleaning products, and chemical additives in processed foods etc....), is vital to prevent birth defects and preserving fertility. Glad I found this group..thanks Kassandra! I just started my own/first blog - total newbie to all of this, but have very supportive mommy friends who led me to twittermoms. I look forward to more! (http://geezbaby.blogspot.com/). I hope you don't mind if I reference this page to invite others who might be on the same page!?!?

Hi Gals, I too went through infertility (endometriosis/benign cysts on both ovaries/severe infection after my 3rd laporoscopy) I feel your pain.
Are you both involved with RESOLVE?

Well, one of my tubes was blocked. So he will start me on fertility meds for two cycles to see if it takes...if not, he already wants to talk about invetro! Interesting!

Welcome to the group! Just like you, after about 2 years of secondary infertility, I had the hysternopinogram done. They didn't find anything, sent me home and the doctor said sometimes the dye thing makes it easier to conceive. It was another two years til I conceived little William. I say all of that to say this: Doctors practice.

Have faith and keep your energy positive. Babies always come right on time.

Hello ladies,
I just joined because you guys were listed in the twittermoms newsletter. This was a great idea for a group. We have been trying to concieve for almost 2 years after I have been on the pill for 18. I was just sent for a hysternopinogram (sp??) and I got a letter from the Doctor that my test result was abnormal. i have an appt for Friday, but am a little nervous.

If you don't know what that test is, they insert dye through a catheter (again sp??) to my fallopian tubes to check for blockage...the doctor performing the procedure was expressed a little concern, but wouldn't say much until she studied the results.
