idk on the shirts.. i know cassandra has her own and there are a few on cafepress but none of them stand out to me.. i'm going to wait a little bit and maybe i'll find one..

I'd love one with a certain rune on it...I suggested it to Cassandra, as a matter of fact. I am sure you know which one I mean...I won't mention it 'cause Ashley's not done yet. But it would have meaning for me beyond MI.

ok last post before i head off to bed. i meant to write this earlier but somehow left it out of my post...
i have a feeling that Simon has found his *someone* already and he just doesn't know it.. She isn't a vamp but she IS an downworlder.. that may be some type of hint :D i hope he does leave Clary alone too.. i just don't see them as a couple..

I agree, Steph and I think we're suspecting the same person. She's already been introduced and there's chemistry between them. Fully agree. That leaves Clary and Jace and Mysterious Woman and Sebastian. Hmmm.
The Inquisitor noticed that mark. The mark. Oy vey, I've thought myself into a stupor. I mean honestly, did any one of guess that SM was going to have the wedding happen so soon in BD?? And not to mention Nessie? Sigh. Who knows what CC will do. Although, I did always know Bella would become a vamp and that Edward would turn her but only if her life was in mortal danger. With Jace and Clary...not so much...CC could go ANY way she pleases.

i think i need to go back and review about 'the mark'. I don't want to say too much because ashley isn't there yet.. but its mentioned way earlier in the book isn't it? or even in COB? and what is so special about this 'mark'? i'm guessing something to do w/ the experimenting? ... or angels maybe?
i think i read to fast and skip over way too many parts.. think i just need to reread the whole book.. and go slower this time.

I just keep thinking of the Seelie Queen's words - "the Angel's own gift." I think that's probably one of the possibilities.

Yes, the City of Glass is Alicant, the main city in Idris. City of Bones is of course the Bone City where the Silent Brothers live. And City of Ashes is more metaphorical — the ashes that rain down on them in the end of the book after the ship burns, the ashes of dead hope, the ashes in the Silent City.

Oh dear. Well, I don't think a movie is very likely, but fans seem to have fastened on Alex Pettyfer for Jace.

And then I thought of Tom Sturridge (I think that's his name) for Sebastian, and Summer Glau from Firefly would make a great Isabelle. I'm an old X-Files fan, so maybe Gillian Anderson as Jocelyn. And of course Ewan MacGregor as Hodge, because then I could meet Ewan MacGregor. Clary I have no ideas for, she's the hardest. Alec is difficult too, as it's hard to find someone who's attractive but it a vulnerable, not chiseled, sort of way.
