I don't think she looks like him at all. She's got her mom's hair and I vaguely recall something in COB about her saying that she had her dad's eyes, assuming she meant the guy she THOUGHT was her dad. Valentine has black eyes and white blonde hair. And, Valentine being the type of arrogant personality he is, it's not hard to imagine just being around him for a short time could bring out some very similar qualities in other people, without them having to be related at all.
Clary definitely resembles Jocelyn. As for Valentine's personality, well, we truly don't know his entire back story. Was he always arrogant?? Dunno. Hodge says something about him in COB, but I can't recall it right now. MommyBrainLapse!! LOLz. I do need to re-read it again tonight.
Yes, the old fashioned re-read...I saw the same re-vamp and their adorable excuse as of course, well, there are vamps in TMI...LOLz. Yeah - no - doesn't work for me. *grins*

Okay, y'all. Just posted something in Mundie Moms -- no longer lurking. It's titled "Foreshadowing in City of Bones" and it's in the City of Glass section. See what you think.
Saw it, Ashley, and commented! And our ticker says - 11 days. I . can't . stand . it
Especially the one MM that read the ARC and made some comment about her favorite scene ever is in COG - really?? *widens eyes in expectation*
Just finished re-reading City of Bones last night. So, so good. Did you notice our ticker --> 4 Days! Hooray. Is it wrong that I'm more excited about this book than the Twilight DVD?
nah, we've already seen twilight too many times to count, the book is something new.. i know i'm more excited about the book than the DVD.
have you read the hunger games, Ashley? I just finished and saw that they are going to be making it into a movie as well. if they do it correctly, I think that will be a very awesome movie.
I saw that yesterday, too. My reading list is growing very long these days. I've actually considered dropping out of my book club so that I can read more of my own books.
Did you like Hunger Games? I remember seeing the rec on SM's site. It sounds like it's right up my alley -- I loved Running Man, the so-bad-it's-good 80s movie.
Yeah, I loved Hunger Games. It took me a little while to get into it, I don't know why, probably just had too much stuff on my mind, but as soon as I started trying to read it, I got hooked fast.
