Since there is already movie news out there about Eclipse, we need a place to talk about it!

Oh, it's going to be so good...all that dialogue...not to mention the infamous (in my lil' ol' brain) Leg Hitch Scene. *swooning*

Laura and Elena -- I feel EXACTLY the same way. This is when I really can't stand Jacob. But, as k'smama reminds us -- the LEG HITCH scene, people!!!!

All I know about Eclipse is that it is going to cause me to go on high blood pressure medication. That whole "triangle" storyline makes me want to hurt someone, namely Bella, and Jacob...!

It isn't Jacob's fault that Bella is so stupid. LOL

OMG leg hitch scene...crack me up! My girlfriend had to read that scene a few times, she couldn't get enough...

Does anyone know if they plan to release Eclipse in Nov of 2010? I'm assuming they'll all be a year apart. It will be interesting to see how they end it or wrap it up if there are no plans to make Breaking Dawn into a movie....hmmmm?

I want to see Bella try to seduce Edward and the I totally agree about the Triangle...and totally agree about jasper and the whole tent scene.

I dont see how they could end with this movie - they MUST do Breaking Dawn! I would be heart hurt if they didnt. Its like not finishing the Harry Potter series, the book readers would feel unfulfilled!

OME - I hadn't even realized that Breaking Dawn might not make it on to the big screen. Noooooo! They have to do it. Have to! I actually thought I heard somewhere that they might split BD up into 2 movies, like Harry Potter. I sure need to catch up.

For Eclipse, though - I can not WAIT to see the training sessions in the clearing on how to kill a newborn. And especially the big fight. That and the scene in the tent where Edward lets Jacob into his head...

Of course - I'd gladly skip over the part where Jacob tricks Bella into asking him for a kiss. Ugh. I was screaming not so very nice things about Jacob the first time I read that part!

Here's some info. on what Stephenie herself has said about the possibility of a Breaking Dawn movie. She did say that she thought that the book "might be impossible to film."

I've heard you say that you think Breaking Dawn should be two movies. Why? Also, that it might be impossible to film. What does that mean?

SM: If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it's hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes. The book is just so long! I can't imagine how to distill it—if I could, the book would be shorter. But maybe a screenwriter can see a way to do it and still cover the crucial plot points.

When I said that Breaking Dawn might be impossible to film, it's because of Renesmee. You can do almost anything with CGI these days—realistic dragons and dinosaurs and endless amounts of nonexistent creatures that blend right in with the real elements. Some of them look so real you forget they're not. However, the one thing that I've never seen is a CGI human being who truly looks real. An actress can't play Renesmee, at least not when she's a few days old; she's the size of a baby, but her expressions are totally controlled and aware. She would have to be a construct, and CGI isn't quite there yet. Of course, they develop amazing new technologies everyday, and we've got a little time left.

That is an excellent point on Renesmee... it'd be interesting to see if they'll be able to pull it off! Shoot - I sure hope they can!!

Yeah Renesme is going to be difficult but I'm sure they could figure something out. I'm rereading this book right now and I hope they put the part where Bella punches Jacob in there I know it's not significant but I love that part of the book.
