Now THAT is some good news! I think that New Moon has TONS of moments that could translate really well to the screen. Although some moments would be hard to fans to watch (oh, poor Bella!), they'll make great movie moments. Can't you just picture Bella running through the square in Volterra? The only trouble is -- not much RP until the end!

I know what you mean about the thought of Edward (RP) not being in New Moon enough, but I'm thinking that they could write in some scenes of him on his own trying to get over Bella.

I definitely think New Moon would translate really well to the big screen. I could totally picture the scene of Bella in the woods after the breakup and the cliff jumping scene. I also think they could really do the Volterra thing well. I'm already looking forward to it and I haven't even seen Twilight yet. How sad is that!

Oh, no, Jen -- it's not sad at all! That's why we're here -- to go on about this stuff!

You're right, Jen -- I would also LOVE to see some of Edward's POV during the NM movie. Could you imagine? That would be insanely great, and would get us more RP!

One of the many things that breaks my heart about SM not (currently) finishing work on Midnight Sun -- the fact that she could also keep going with Edward's POV for the next books. I would LOVE to know what he was going through during the New Moon time frame.

Interesting! There must be good buzz for Twilight for a second movie to seem imminent.

My feelings are that I need to relocate to Forks for awhile so I can be one of those Twilight Moms who hang out at the filming location. Who's in?? *winks and giggles*

The buzz is, if Twilight does well (and how can it not?) that they will make NM. The actors are supposedly signed already as long as Twi goes well.

I'm soo excited for this movie.. I will miss Rob but I'm really eager to see how they make Taylor the big bad wolf lol.. plus he's going to have to magically grow a foot and I wonder how they'll do that..

has anyone else heard the rumor that they might try to put both NM and EC into one movie?? That was talk a long time ago but I wonder if they really will do that?

I hadn't heard that. That would be one heck of a long movie. Though i guess they could condense the angsty no Edward time down. But still. That would be a massive movie.

I hope they don't do that. I want MORE Twilight not less! Let us have at least 4 movies!!
