I know I have to wait until I see the full movie but the screen shots and clips that I've seen so far are not making me a fan of the makeup. I think they are definitely clearer on the Cullen's emotional/hunger state with the eye color but they just look crazier to me. In addition, Jasper and Edward's hair? Hmmmm... Again, I may be judging prematurely BUT from what I've seen so far, they just don't look as "beautiful" as they did in Twilight.

What do you ladies think?

I like it better than Twilight makeup which seemed way to low-budget and pancake-like. I even remember laughing at some of the really bad makeup moments, like Esme's hairline in the kitchen scene. NM is definitely more professional. And I LOVE Edward's hair.

I thought it was good.

Okay, now that I have seen it twice, I think it is better than the first one. I think they look a little more vampirish namely in the eyes. I like how she differenciated the different vampires by their eyes and their stages of thirst. I like how this color was still the amber color but closer to the red and the make-up around the eyes accented that.

I liked the makeup much better in New Moon, than inTwilight. The stark white vs. bright red lips of Edward in the first movie really bugged me. And I agree with oshun55, I loved Edward's hair!

I am not liking the eyes so much.....they look like contacts. Especially...Alice. She looks weird.

Jasper loooked plum crazy to me with the hair & Rosalie was definitely more attractive in the first. The wigs were a poor choice. I thought overall that the maleup was better although I have to admit I prefer the more subtle suggestion of their "other wordliness" with the makeup in the first.

NM makeup looks more vampire-like, so it doesn't work in the school scene because they stick out so much. Other than that I still prefer it, can't wait to see NM again.
