Reclaiming Your Inbox!

If you are getting overwhelmed by the amount of emails generated by Twilight Twittermoms you can do one of two things.

You can use the Stop Following Link at the top of this page OR you can go to your personal page then click on settings on the right toolbar then email on the left toolbar. Adjust the check boxes...this helps a lot. And down toward the bottom you can click "clear my follow list." It will clear out all the things you are currently following.

The Front Page is a Spoiler-Free Zone

Not everyone has read all of the books or seen the movie! Be sure to post all movie and other possible spoiler notes in either the book discussion threads or the movie discussion thread. Thank you!

Let this serve as a very firm warning.

I just finished reading Twilight for the first time. It took me 3 days to finish it which is awesome for me having 4 kids and a needy husband. We are in the middle of an ice storm and I just had to run down to Walmart and get New Moon in case I get trapped here all weekend. My husband thinks I am crazy, at least I picked up bread and milk while I was there! I have never finished such a large book so quickly. It made me feel like I was the one falling in love for the first time. Love, LOVE, Love the book! I want more!

oshun -- LOVE that story -- that is precious. I can see why you might cry -- your little guy is really paying attention to what matters to you! Very sweet -- thanks for sharing.

@Cece My son does these magazine and newspaper collages at pre-school, so the other day I pick him up, and he's jumping up and down saying "Mommy I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes." Then he puts two ripped out ads for the Twilight DVD in my hand. I hugged him, and nearly cried.

I do have my dvd, I did watch it. I was very pleased to say the least. I thought they did a good job but at the same time left in the extended and deleted scenes. If it would have been a half hour longer that would have been fine with me. I guess my only complaint is that it was to short. I do prefer the books because you just can't put all the thoughts, plots, planning into a movie. I do plan to watch it again and I do hope they make a movie on Edwards memoirs ☺

The Bad Girl from Mario Vargas Llosa!
Give it a try! I couldn't put it down!
I'm in page 50 in Midnight Sun and I really hope SM will finish it and publish it because it's a great book. Edward falling for Bella but not recognizing the feeling it's so ... don't know what but it gets me!

I finished Twilight in two days and none of the books lasted longer than 4(can you say dictionary for Breaking Dawn). I have never been so engrossed with a series before that it was worth bieng a zombie the next day at work. I hate to say it but the movie disappointed me. It seemed so dramatic and reading it made me think Bella & Edward's love was Romeo and Juliet all over again. I am going to give New Moon a try though. I was looking for something to read when I was done...major withdrawls... and I am reading Marked by P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast. It's a House of Night novel. It took me awhile to get into it and I have been reading for a few weeks vs a few days but it's just now getting good. Anyone else disappointed in the movie? Anyone have a suggestion for a good book until she puts out a new one?

I read it two times. It parallels the Twilight book, but told by Edward. It is really good, because Edward is so much more complex than Bella. It gives you insight as to how he thinks and why he hated her so much when he first saw her. It only goes so far as the first 1/3 of the Twilight story, because Stephenie has stopped writing it. She gave a few raw drafts to some people, and one of those people put it on the internet. So she was so upset that she stopped writing the book. But, for her fans, she posted it on her website so we didn't have to get an illegal copy. Just go to her website and click on the Midnight Sun tab on the left hand side. It is definitely worth reading. Hopefully, someday she will finish it, and give us yet one more wonderful book to add to our collection!

What about Midnight Sun? Has anyone read it from SM website?
Ana Green Comment by Ana Green on March 25, 2009 at 6:09pm
I'm with April! Unless you have a lot of will power you probably will start the first book and won't stop until you're finished with all four and then you'll read them again and read them deeply! :)
