2. I twitter to meet new people, follow old friends and gain new ideas

3. My audience is women who are internet savvy and in the 35-55 age bracket

3. My strategy to find followers is to look on sites such as Twitter moms and find people who make comments that indicate that we have something in common. I start to follow them and also look on their sites to see if there are others who they are following who I would like to follow

9. suggestions from friends

10. I am still a newbie...as I learn more, I am sure I will be much more vocal

If you answer no to number 8 - Today Twittermoms are having a Virtual Charity Wine Tasting. Besides being a lot of fun, you can learn a more about Twitter and what you can do there.

2. Why do you twitter? meet new people, learn about etsy & other selling opportunities, promote shop/blog
3. Your audience moms with little girls, grandmas with granddaughters
3. Your Twitter strategy to find followers. Currently, I find twitterers that seem to match my audience and go through their followers and add them. Then repeat. Sometimes I use the search functions...but I don't seem to have that down yet.
4. Keywords you have used (or are likely to use) to find Twitters. "baby" "mom" "green"
5. Keyword tools? Do you use Google Keyword tool to help? no...
6. Do you use Twitter feed to feed blog posts to twitter? Do you recommend it? I don't use it. Still pretty new to this!
7. Do you use any Twitter tools that helps you twitt? search.twitter.com

8. Have you attended any parties, get together, wine tasting, etc.. on Twitter? no - would like to!
9. How do you find a group, a person or an activity on Twitter? I follow a lot of links in my timeline.

My professional twitter self ID is “FamilyClassroom”. I have a homely website and blog right now until I decide where to go with my business. PS - I have a ‘foodie’ twitter self ID too which is where I am very boring, “Sweetland.”

2. Why do you twitter?
Somehow I, being an unemployed high school counselor, found Twitter Moms on October 23, 2008. I wish I would have recorded how exactly I found TM because it has opened my cyber world even beyond my dreams. I twitter (FamilyClassroom) to help others. I twitter (Sweetland) for fun and my love of food.

3. Your audience
My FamilyClassroom audience is primarily parents but we all belong to a family too so my audience is really anyone interested in family issues as well.
My Sweetland audience is mainly foodie and friends.

8. Have you attended any parties, get together, wine tasting, etc.. on Twitter?
I attended the one about food of course! It was about holiday cooking.

I am so thankful for the internet and what it has done for me and lives of millions world wide.
Twitter Moms has also been very instrumental in "being there for me"...even if I did burn my husband's grill cheese one day because I was focused on TM and not on his sandwich!!!

2. I twitter both personal & business related tweets. Try to stick more to business....I tweet new product announcements, new blog posts, etc. The more popular ones tend to be a story about a crazy customer (in my store). Most of my Follows/Followers are moms like me though so I share the typical mom trials & funnies.

3. As I just said, a good percentage of my followers are moms, mostly mommy bloggers. The rest (or sometimes they overlap) are small business women like myself.
Honestly I have the worst time with the Twitter search ever working. I find a lot of my follows from my current follwers/follows. The people they are networking with are typically my target audience.

4. See above again. 9 times out of 10 Twitter Search seems to crash. To frustrating to deal with.

10. Right now I cannot offer suggestions but will certainly take any. For instance I am having a hard time putting in the hyperlinks. I click on it and it never works.

To network with others that share my interest or can provide information on my interest

I have two types of audiences.

Web Business Owners:
Who wants to improve their search engine ranking
Who wants free resources and information about doing business online

WAHM's or Mom's
Who are looking for resources like free graphics, recipes, arts & crafts, free family & home related ebooks

I visit the profiles of people that are following me and see who they're following
I use the Twitter Search Engine

I use a variety of keywords. Mom, Women, SEO, Marketing, Web Design, Home Business, WAHM

5. Keyword tools? Do you use Google Keyword tool to help?
Not really sure what this means. I don't use Keyword Tools for twitter stuff, but I have a program that provides Search Engine Analysis for SEO purpose.

6. Do you use Twitter feed to feed blog posts to twitter? Do you recommend it?
I use one of the twitter apps for Word Press called Twitter This

7. Do you use any Twitter tools that helps you twitt?
Aside from the Twitter This App, I have the Tweet My Blog and Twitter Blaster apps. I haven't used the latter two yet, but I plan to.

No

9. How do you find a group, a person or an activity on Twitter?
I use the same info I'm written on how I find people to follow, but if I'm looking for an activity, I usually just read the tweets.

10. Ask for suggestions and Give Suggestions!
Twitter is a great tool for getting traffic to your website. Provide good information on your site and you'll keep your followers. Interact with your followers and provide information if you have the answer to their question. Even if you're tweeting because of your business, sometimes it's nice to just read the tweets and give encouragement or be a friend when one of your followers need that extra TLC, in other words, get a little personal.

11. How do you find a group, a person or an activity on Twitter? use the find people tab on twitter. Also, if I see someone on FB and they also twitter - I follow them. Generally they follow back.

Give and enjoy giving and helping.

Keep a sense of humor and curiosity.

Have faith that no matter what you are doing or where you are that it is for your best interest.

Thin out who you're following regularly. Give people a chance to twitter - but remove the ones that
aren't connecting with you, or helping with your main goal.
