What is the deal with Tweetdeck?? I see so many people using it and I would like to know how to use it and if it is helpful?? I also see that I could use it on my phone. Is this a good thing???

Has anyone used Twitterel?
I signed up but don't like it. Emailed them to unsubscribe but can't even find the profile page they said to use to stop getting emails.
Any suggestions?

Dear 'Twitter Newbies,'
