Hi,
This sounds like a great group. I work very part time as a VA. I love that I can do it at night when the kids are asleep. I don't make a lot of money. For me it's just a little extra cash. I was fortunate enough to find work through a friend. It has slowed in '09 and I miss the extra money!

Before becoming a full time mommy, I worked in advertising as a production manager. I started as an Office Manager though.

There are free online sources for job postings. I have accounts with Odesk and elance. Anyone else use those?

Hello everyone,
I am excited about this group. I have done a lot of work as an Administrative Asst., Office Mgr. and a Receptionist. I started as a Graphic Artist but have been a bookkeeper for the last 15 years. I have a lot of skills but I am wondering how I transfer them (and can I) to the Virtual World. Any suggestions on how to start?

This is great it is hard to find legit places to look for work at home work. They all sound good until you start your research and find out they are scams that want money

Hi Ladies! I'm excited to see this group form on TwitterMoms. I'm a work-from-home marketing executive, and I'll soon be needing a virtual assistant. Thanks so much. I worked in production for nine years trafficking ads and resolving production issues. I can write and have been published. I'm proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and have worked with Quark, FileMakerPro, QuickBooks. Apologize if this is too much information. : )
