This where I would like EVERYONE to introduce themselves.

If we are going to connect, encourage and support we need to know a bit more about you and what you what to bring to the table.

I will start and you can go from there! :0)

Hello WAHM's my name is Cheryl Hill. I am a former elementary teacher but several years back decided and felt a need to be home with my first baby girl.

At first as a WAHM I cleaned motel rooms, tutored, and babysat, but that really didn't give me the time to be HOME where I wanted to be.

It was then that I found my Home Business and have never looked back. It gives me the freedom to be ME but at home with the girls and help out financially!

I have a passion for helping other moms reach their dreams and be at home too and I am drawn to the computer and out and about to connect with other moms. I guess as a teacher being a team leader is also a passion and one that I enjoy as well!

Ted and I have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful girls who are 5 and 2. So life, business, girls, and my husband keep me busy but something I LOVE doing and enjoy life!

I also like to READ, GARDEN, and BE OUTSIDE! I look forward to connecting and meeting all of you.

I'm Chrystal and I'm a mom to one beautiful 9-month old girl, Zoë. After having her, I just couldn't bring myself to go back to work, so I started a business from home using my marketing communications and sales background, and a lot of help and support from my husband.

We currently live in San Diego, but we'll be retiring to Uruguay in May since we can now afford for both of us to work full time on our home business; and the business will allow us to work from anywhere in the world.

I've been working from home for about 9 years now - and the recession we are in has put a damper on my can business some, but I'm confident sales will pick back up again-

I also have a blog located at: http://www.lifewithavalleyview.blogspot.com/ and if you sign up to folllow me on the blog, I'm holding a drawing for 6 greeting cakes- you can read all about it on the site! Be sure to spread the word and tell your friends!

Hello everyone!

I have enjoyed reading the introductions. I was formerly in bookeeping at a non-profit organization. I have been a travel agent working at home for the last 2 years. I had my youngest daughter 22 months ago. I do enjoy being with her, but there are also many work at home challenges. I look forward to connecting with other WAHMs.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to twittermoms (and fairly new to twitter as well). I'm 31 years old and a new transplant to the suburbs (Montclair NJ) after living in NYC for over a dozen years. I have one-year old twins (Lily and Logan) and work part time as a freelance copywriter specializing in beauty, organics, eco-friendly living and natural health. Before the twins I worked full time as a magazine editor before transitioning into copywriting. Past employers and writing gigs have included Teen Vogue, Elle, L'Oreal Paris and Avon. My current main gig is writing for the organic beauty website Saffron Rouge.

I also recently started my own blog (link at bottom) in an effort to get connected and make new friends. I go for days without seeing anyone but my husband, the baby sitter and the grocery store clerks (who must think I'm insane for chatting so much). So I'm hoping to meet some others like me.

If I get any extra writing gigs out of it.... well that's just a bonus. ; )

If you have a few moments, take a look at my blog. It's all about juggling life as a busy working mom. And I know you ALL can relate.

Hi. My name is Cindy. I have a 15 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. So in itself two teenagers is a terrible challenge!!! I have been married for 20 years and worked outside of the home until my 13 year old son was one. It was too much to keep up with small children, cleaning house, cooking, etc.

Then two years after I decided to stay home my husband and I went into a business partnership with another couple. It is a drainage contracting business and I basically do all the book/computer work. My husband and I bought out the other couple so now the business is just ours. It is very hectic and we have to work around the weather and the farmers.

So now it seems I've come full circle and back to being extremely busy but with two TEENAGERS instead of small children. Any hints on teenagers or small business tax updates etc. would be appreciated. I look forward to talking to you!!

Hi fellow WAHM'ers. I'm a mom of two beautiful kids - a one year old girl and three and a half year old boy, have a wonderful hubby and own a PR/Marketing agency, Charisma! Communications. (www.charismacommunications.com) I've worked from home building the agency for the last 6 years and am happy to report I now have 4 members on staff and we made over a quarter of a million in revenue last year. I love seeing moms who get to balance their kids and work and would love to help other moms begin or strengthen their business. My blog, www.themotherloadblog.blogspot.com, is a way for me to share the tips, tools and chaos that contribute to the ever-elusive world of balance.

So glad to have found this group!

Hi, I'm Kellie. I always knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom, but becoming a work-at-home-mom has been truly rewarding in so many ways.

Initially, I thought I would start my own business or even go back to work part time once my kids were in school, but inspiration and the need for a creative outlet seemed to hit me much sooner!
Now, here I am running two businesses from home. One is a Web based boutique specializing in clothing and gifts for twins and their families called, Trends In Twos. The other is a fun, interactive, informational Web site for parents and families who have or are expecting twins called, Twin Pregnancy And Beyond.
Both of them have really grown and allow me to be at home with my little ones while adding to our income, which feels nice. I have also learned how to do my own SEO, HTML, CSS, graphic design, and all that tech-y webmaster-y stuff I had no clue about a couple of years ago!

By the way, I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter, 2 1/2 year old identical twin sons and another baby girl due this April 2009. I'm 33 and have been married for almost 10 years, but met my husband when I was a mere 15 years old...lol!

Greetings! I'm Terri and have been a SAHM for a year now with my 6 year old. I decided to homeschool him last year. I blog, mostly, about being an atypical homeschool mom and frugal junkie @ www.browngirl.blogsome.com.

I also recently started a line of tees for my fellow coupon queens~~The Frugal Tee. I'd love it if you'd all check out my site and my blog. The line consists of one tee but it's doing well and more are to come soon. Thanx!

Hi, my name is Sindhu Giedd. I am 26 years old, a wife to my best friend, and a mother of two sweet little boys (14 months and 2 and half years). I recently started a business which offers in home music lessons, called Atlanta Fine Arts. I really hope business picks up soon!

Other than this, I am a freelance musician (pianist and singer) although I love staying home with my little boys. I am also a Christian. My relationship with Christ defines who I am and what I do. I would love to connect with other Christian moms.

I guess I just need encouragement on my new business and tips from other WAHMs on how I can succeed.
