I'm a 25 year old mom to a 6 month baby boy. I am currently on maternity leave and trying to find a way not to go back to work. I am looking into starting a home business so I can bring in some income while staying home with my little boy.

Hi, I'm mother of two; Maggie 14 & Locke 18 (in his first year of college). I have an online home business selling certified organic products. I also work as an independent contractor selling advertising for a green, healthy living directory.

I've been working from home for a little over 3.5 years.
I love being my own boss but I'm not always that focused on what I need to be working on.

If you want to learn more about me you can read more on my website:

Great to meet everyone :)

Hi, everyone. I'm a co-owner of onegoodie.com. Glad to be here - still figuring out how to balance twittermoms with twitter, facebook, mommying and work.

Hi everyone! I've been working from home for four years now. My kids are now 15, 13 and 11 and they're at the wonderful age where I can tell them to do the dishes, floors and the lawn.

I work in early intervention providing services to families with deaf and hard of hearing kids and I also work as a paid blogger.

Greetings!
I'm sure as a wahm I put in way more hours than I would in a regualr job. Part of that is because of the big learning curve - lots of things work and lots don't. The good news for me is I finally feel like my time is being utilized more productivily although I do love this type of networking and really needs to watch the time factor. I have a preschooler - which makes it all the more challenging to find the balance.
I have two businesses which take up my time - I sell amazing certified organic products since I am super passionate about the chemical soup out there and don't want to be adding to it in the environment or on my families body, and I teach yoga to babies and children from 3 weeks old right up to age 12. The combination of these two make my life feel full.
looking forward to getting to know more women here!

Hi everyone,

It's Carole from Australia. I'm a single mum of 3 boys living minutes from a fabulous beach.

My children come first and my priority was to be there for them before and after school. So working from home the majority of the time is the perfect option for me.

I facilitate Women's Rejuvenation workshops, retreats and evenings along with writing for publications and my blog. Whilst I do have to leave the home to facilitate these rejuvenation treats for women I've set my own schedule so it works perfectly for my boys routine.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Peace, love and chocolate

Hi. my kids are teenagers, but I swear the "mom" hat is still on most of the time. I love working at home so I can, well, just be there for whatever. Things still come up that need attention during the day, and I like being the one to take care of it. It is my job and a privledge. I love what I do. (ok, and there is no way I'm going back to an office job!)

I recently became a stay at home mom after working 10 years in banking and accounting. By far, having a brand new baby is the hardest job I've ever had. I am now trying to earn a little money through my arts and crafts via www.shamsandcoverups.com. I feel like I never sleep now with a baby and trying to start a stay at home business for myself.
