i've been told, you have to generate the buzz, give something away to build their trust too, like a free ebook, or white page, something useful and they will visit your site, download, buy, etc. and tell friends, but you have to ask them to or make it easy for them to forward invite.

have you tried twitter? oh, from the looks of your website maybe. also use facebook, linked in etc to generate traffic. Put a great quote or something useful up there send to friends, ask them to pass it around. I'm building a new website and business, and will do more of this myself as soon as I design the logo. I have been busy putting up articles, etc. Need to work out a few things too. But social media is the way to go. I believe there are more than 1800 social media sites, some are overseas, but there are plenty here to get started with. I hope to hear of a few others myself. good luck!
