Important Guidelines for Welcome Moms

A warm and personal welcome to new members is an important way to keep this place vibrant, healthy and growing.

Guidelines
The best “welcome” comments are warm and personal. I try my best to take the time to visit someone’s blog, review the profile they’ve created, and check out some of their latest “tweets” on twitter. You can figure out if there are interest groups they might like to join and make some suggestions – even suggest people they should consider connecting with!

Most of all, it’s important to keep the welcome warm, personal and fun. A simple “Welcome to the group!” may be all you have time for, but ideally we should try to write welcome comments that show an interest in the individual.

But then, at the end of the day I'd wonder what on earth I got done that day. So...I have to put the brakes on.

I find that somedays I just click click click on people, making new friends, accepting new friend requests, etc, but I don't actually get to know many of them. Today's the day...today I start taking a closer look at everyone else's sites, blogs, postings in order to see what they are creating, just as I am creating.

So...good to meet you all and I look forward to sharing ideas and creativity with you all.
