Thanks, Liz! This is a great idea...I'd love to let Twitter Moms know that I'm a copywriter specializing in marketing copy, and I'm a blog fanatic. I help clients with their blogs on many levels (writing, editing, strategizing, keywording, etc.). I also focus on using blog marketing and social networks to grow your business. What I love about it is this: it's all built on genuine relationships (like the ones we're all building on this network). This isn't about SPAM, this is about connection, support and growth. I also consult with wannabe freelance writers on how to build their business. Check out my site: www.writingroads.com and my blog: www.bloggingroads.com (or click on the 'B' from WritingRoads.com!
Can't wait to hear about all of you...

Hi! Thanks for having a thread like this here. I currently have started up an etsy shop. I have a passion for handmade crafting so I've decided to take this passion and try my hand at selling my goods. My shop has knit and crochet items along with custom cards and other papercrafts. I'm just shy of 2 months starting up and really working on trying to get my shop noticed in the public. I work on this during my evening hours once my kiddies are in bed. It's my way of unwinding down from a long work day.Feel free to come take a peek at my shop. Feedback is always appreciated!
Thanks for looking!

Thanks for starting this thread!

I recently started Qlubb (www.qlubb.com)to help, busy people (including working moms!) to organize and manage their non-virtual groups (e.g., room parenting, scout troops, play groups, sports teams, book clubs, church groups, etcc.). I was just simply tired of trying to coordinate my kids and my own activities via email lists (like I need any more spam).

So Qlubb was created to make it simple for members and leaders to share information and coordinate activities.

Qlubb has built-in and integrated group calendar, email list, online sign-up sheets, file/photo sharing, shared to-do lists, automatic event/task reminders, roster management... It's super easy to use and registration is simple.

We built the system to really help the busy person who doesn't have the time or patience to learn YET ANOTHER system.

Anyways, I encourage of all of you to check us out. If you feel compelled to write a review or twitter about us, I'll send you some of our cool tchotchkes. http://blog.qlubb.com/2008/09/cool-qlubb-tchotchkes.html

THANKS!
Sophia

Working Moms -

I run and manage www.abernook.com.

We are an online gift store that specializes in gifts for specific holidays and gift occasions. For busy moms, we make it easy to stop and get those last minute gifts. Give us a look. If you are ever in a last minute bind, call in your order and we will let you know how quickly it can be shipped to eliminate any last minute/overnight shipping costs - just mention TwitterMoms.

Hi, thanks for starting up this discussion group. Last year, I started a social collaboration site, www.qlubb.com, that helps busy people (read:moms, dads) organize and coordinate their real-world groups.

As a room parent, playgroup coordinator and preschool board member, I was tired of relying on email lists to organize my children's activities and clubs (e.g., room parenting, scouts, sports, play groups, etc.) And I also found that busy parents just don't have the patience or time to figure out/configure a group site, so Qlubb makes it SUPER SIMPLE of group organizers to create a private/safe site on which to organize and manage group events, activities, etc...

Since officially launching in August, we have thousands of users and Qlubbs, ranging from book clubs to triathletes to classrooms to scouts, etc... It's holiday and party planning season now, so I invite you to give Qlubb a try, and please feel free to give me feedback (good AND bad).

Thanks,
Sophia

I am a television producer, writer and mom of a not-quite-yet-terrible two-year-old. We are only a month into her two's
- so far so good except for yesterday's tantrum. Thank goodness my husband was watching her at that time. Better him than me.

In case you don't know about mommytackd.com please check it out. I work for the site as a contributing writer. Great info. for working moms.

Working for mommytrackd.com inspired me to start my own blog The Moxie Report. Now I can say what the hell I want when the hell I want to.

And if you ever need a producer, writer or public speaker or know someone who does go to my website www.tracyevansmedia.com.

Cheers.

Liz, now if I can lull my girls to sleep I can visit all these great sites:). Psyched to see so many writers here!

What I do - As a pediatric psychologist and The Family Coach I see families in their homes solving the challenges of every day life. As a producer, I blog, produce an online radio show, develop DVD's, promote social causes and present strategies on TV designed to improve family life.

What I invite you to do - Come on my radio show! It is served up live on blog talk radio. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/the-family-coach

I welcome interviews with lively talkative moms (and dads) who have tips, sites, TV shows, radio shows, new books or products relevant to business, education, media and family life. So let me know if you are game for an interview live! What you have to say matters!

Oh and here is my new facebook group to help families improve their lives in a weekend. Join in! http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/group.php?gid=46986415803

Nice to meet you all,

Best,

Lynne
