Share 'Wine and Chocolate'

I bought a chocolate torte (very dark and rich) for my husband's birthday. We were having a bottle of Lalande Couturier Bordeaux, 1995 and we were so surprised by how well this wine went with the dark chocolate. Have you ever had wine/chocolate combos that worked really well? I'm thinking about having a wine, cheese and chocolate party. Yum:)
