That sounds like a great idea. My parents, Zahara (our oldest) and her boyfriend came here for Christmas. It was nice. Katie, Chris and Thomas are all doing very well and that's who I really need to try to focus on right now. I read the comment I posted on November 19th. What a difference a month makes, huh. I guess it is still "loser" that is "messing" with me. Oh well, maybe Karma will help to take care of things. :)

Thanks. I assumed that you knew. This will actually be the number 5 that I am having and my first girl. Tom had 2 girls already, Katie is 13 now and Zahara is 20, he has a boy who is 16 and autistic named Christopher. Life is MUCH better now and I can't believe that I was with "loser" as long as I was and am very happy now. This might be it for the kiddos, I am getting old you know ;). Anyway, it is nice to get messages from you, please feel free anytime. I like it.

WELCOME TO TWITTERMOMS!

By the way, do you draw, paint, take photos, etc? How about the kids? Looking for original art for Art Cards for Soldiers!

Soldiers serving abroad have many needs, but one of the ones that comes at the top of their wish list, are cards to send home to their loved ones. Most soldiers are serving in remote locations with little available in the way of luxuries or basics like writing materials. This gives the soldiers a way to celebrate the occasions they’re missing.

Rather than shop the isles at Hallmark, we have called in the favors of artist friends and are providing beautiful, original art cards made especially for them, to theses brave and wonderful men and women as our way of saying
thanks.

We’ll send these to any active service member through eMail our Military, and soon you’ll be able to purchase a set to have sent by MOM to a deserving soldier or you can purchase them for your own use! We’re so excited to be providing these beautiful art cards to people who deserve only the best for sacrificing so much - time away from the ones they love.

How can you help? We need your original art scanned and sent to us or one card that we can scan. All the details are on the site (see below) or email if you have questions.

Special thanks to the artists for sharing their amazing talents and eMail our Military for supporting this effort.

Visit the ART CARDS FOR SOLDIERS site to see the artwork already donated and for details and PLEASE PASS THIS ON! It would make a great kid project - Scouts, Church, etc.

Okay....I have three children and ALL of them were colic babies! How did I get so lucky....LOL. Anyway, my husband and I tried every contraption out there to help the little ones try and get some sleep. All three loved the swing! It kept them upright so they could sleep and not choke if they got sick. Anyway, after my children were too big for the swing, it was time to get rid of it. My mom was having a yard sale so I went down to help out and sell some stuff. One of the "elder" neighbors came d… Continue
