Oh, the action around here!

on Monday
I blog about the Unexpected Twists and Turns in our everyday lives. One of the many aspects that we try to incorporate into our lives is green living. I have done a lot of research into both recycling and pesticide- and hormone-free foods for our ...

Great post! I thought I was the only one to use our bedroom, as the catch-all space. I am a procrastinator, whenever it comes to housework. I just loathe it. In fact, I am supposed to be cleaning our front hall closet right now...

That's a tough situation. I was the child of a single mother. She had my brother and I, 8 and 10 years old at the time of her separation. My brother had a lot of problems with reading and may even have a learning disability. Anyway, money was extr...

Hi everyone! My husband and I were both raised by single mothers, so I thought that I would feel at home with you here. If you have any questions about what it's like to be the child of a single mother just ask away.

My six-year-old daughter should have been born with a pair of scissors in one hand and tape in the other. In her spare time, she is sitting at the table drawing, or cutting and pasting something. I've worked on a few things with her, but I need so...

Local and Organic Fruit and Veggie Trend: CSAs and Avoiding the Dirty Dozen

According to USDA farm census data released in February 2009, in the last five years US consumers have overwhelmingly opted for locally grown fruit and veggies. Farmers selling produce directly to consumers via roadside stands, farmers' markets and pre-paid produce baskets netted $1.2 billion in 2007, up from the 2002 direct sales figure of $812 million. Post-Pregnancy Body Image

I wanted to blog about body image and how after having two kids, I don't feel the same about my body. But my father reads my blog, and I'm sure whatever he has to say on the topic would just make me feel weird, so I decided to venture off to another site and join a moms' group (Hi!) and post.

Love your blog post today about when to start kids at kindergarten ... Also, wonder if I could featured you as a featured blogger on my Family Life blog. (Here's an example of what it's like: http://blog.syracuse.com/family/2009/03/southern_tier_blogger.html)

Basically, you answer a few questions about your blog. I publish your answers and link to your blog, and then you link back to mine the day it posts.

Let me know if you're interested, and I can get you the questions.
