Thanks Charlotte! When my eldest was a baby I managed to write a whole novel while he was napping (it wasn't very good though!) although now with 4 kids I need to be more inventive. In September the third starts school so that leaves one at home. ...

Your suggestions sound idyllic. I don't know if its the age group but I seem to spend more time in conflict resolution than enjoying the benefits of the older siblings' benevolence towards the younger! If it's too quiet I get concerned and this su...

LOL! I love it Alison! Nap time is always a good one and play groups! Those are two that I use. (pretty much the only time I have to write unless the hubby is around to help out)! Good job, you have really good ones!

You forgot the "quiet" contest! The "write a book" for mommy...while mommy works. Older kids can play with the little kids - make paper bag puppets and have a play. There's always the sock filled with cotton balls toss (pretty hard to break anythi...

I wrote this after the last holidays! Do we need to get ready to readjust?

Back to ‘normality’ after the school holidays, time has evaporated once more, appointments and deadlines beckon, meals, uniforms, homework, housework, nappies, snacks and pickups fill the space. Four clamouring voices make me addled and the temptation is to fob the children off in favour of getting things done. Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and becoming a mom for the first time. I have been trying to find more people to follow me so that I can spread awareness:

Great to have you here! We've got an incredible group of women connecting on all sorts of topics, so kick back and make yourself at home. Check out the Twittermoms groups (we have something for everybody). The Twittermoms discussions are quite entertaining, too. Or, just get to know your fellow Twittermoms by browsing some Twittermoms profiles or searching for moms who share your interests, add friends, and start twittering with some incredibly smart and interesting moms.

PS: Let your friends know when you're on twittermoms with a click of the Announce Yourself link in your welcome box. If your Twitter friends are interested, they can check out the cool new place you've found!

Again -- if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.
