Quiet Life
There has been so much going on lately, I am so looking forward to things settling down. We've had multiple issues with the animals, guests from out of town, a death in the family, 1st day of preschool, and now two little ones with colds. All things that can be handled, just too much piled on at once. A very mild choas. I'm wondering what I've done to upset Karma, and how I can make things right. We'll see how things go. Hoping you all are well. Take care and we'll talk soon.

A great organization that is helping save children from malnutrition in Africa. Project Peanut Butter uses a ready to use food formula of ground, roasted peanuts, powdered milk, vitamin and mineral mix, vegetable oil and sugar. All ingredients are sourced locally except for the vitamins and minerals. $15 feeds one child for the duration of the treatment, 6 - 8 weeks.

Chemicals Make Me Crabby
So I went to my nephew's ball game LAST NIGHT. It's a community park area with ball fields, playground and picnic area. Lots of people and pets were running about and enjoying the evening. I noticed a sign on the grass saying that it had been sprayed with chemicals and that kids and pets should keep off until 5/29. Well TODAY is 5/29, so what's up with that? Mother's Day
First off, I'd like to wish all of you a happy Mother's Day. My day was great! I got to sleep in a bit, we had pancakes and eggs for breakfast, and I got a nice card from the kids and Tad. They also got me some beautiful white roses, my favorite. I just feel so lucky to have such a great family, my husband is so awesome and my kids are the greatest! My little girl is sleeping thru the night finally. The sleep and me time is wonderful. I'm also learning to ask for and accept help. I keep thinking how awful leaving her to go to work would be.
