You should also check out Rousanne as a varietal... if you're a fan of viognier. It's a little harder to find, maybe a bit more structured, but quite enjoyable and affordable! Ask at your local wine store, they'll be impressed :^)

I would be happy to help with suggestions to manufacture in India. I can also help with manufacturing out of mexico, china, etc. I was in toy manufacturing for 18 years and left shortly before the lead paint issues came out last year. I saw it coming and no one would stop it. So, I walked away. Swore to only make natural products the rest of my life!!!! :) US standard are so sad when it comes to our children. Anywhere else in the world you could not sell polyester baby blankets. Here they were fast becoming the best sellers. Sad. Anyway...don't get me started on that subject. If you need any help manufacturing please let me know. That is a big part of my business.

I will for sure! In Jan I will be launching a new line of blankets for spring/summer that will retail for apprx $40. I am having organic costed out to see the price difference for these blankets. Just an FYI...it is very easy for a manufacturer to say they are "organic" but... I am doing a lot of research on the subject. I will keep you posted on what I find out.

The cotton is not organic. The bamboo is but we do not call it out on the packaging. The price for the organic was way out of line and by the time we bring the blankets over from India I felt like I kind of defeated the organic part of the blanket. The blanket is NATURAL. The yarn is chemical free. Hope that helps.

Nap and Nod

I am so excited to let you all know about a new product line we are carrying "Nap and Nod". Nap and Nod was founded by a wonderful designer, Lindsay, who lives in Vancouver, BC. Lindsay creates the most beautiful Organic Bamboo Sleep Sacks for babies. Each sleep sack is unique as she uses a mix of patterns and colors. When these arrived the other day I couldn't believe how soft they were not to mention cute, cute, cute! I wish I had one of these when my children were still infants!

Sugar overload...

Does anyone else think that Valentines Day is just one more sugar holiday for our kids? My 4 year old daughter had her pre-school Valentines party today and she came home with a crazy amount of candy...this is on top of the cupcakes, lolipops etc that she ate AT the party. Don't get me wrong, I am a confirmed chocoholic and love a good sugar rush as much as the next guy but I think there has to be a better way to celebrate for our children than overloading them with candy.
