I must not be getting the hang of things here yet....

I'm feeling a little frustrated with my experience here at Twittermoms. I can't quite figure it out, but I think I must be doing something wrong. I'm blogging, but it seems like no one is reading. I respond to forums, and I'm not seeing anything back. I've had limited response to my friend requests, and although I have plenty of you on twitter than I'm following and are following me back, I don't seem to be connecting with others here at the rest of the Twittermoms site. Anyone have suggestions… Continue

Anyone want to review our ballroom dance lessons?

Hey Everyone,

I finally got my bosses at Ballroom Dance Channel to agree to one of my ideas, but now I need your help carrying it out. We need 3-4 high profile review bloggers to give our lessons a try and tell everyone what you think. If you want to see what you would be getting yourself into, check out our free salsa lesson here. If this is something you would be intereste… Continue

Looking for a great holiday gift? I have a few ideas for you!

Hey everyone!

Hope this finds you doing well and getting in the mood for some holiday cheer! The upcoming gift giving season is on my mind today, and with the economy right now, I know we're all looking for some great ideas on a budget. Here are some of the gifts I plan on giving this season:

The gift of dance: The website I work for, Ballroom Dance Channel, has quality dance lessons from some of the pros from Dancing with the Stars at the affo… Continue

Feeling like a valued member of a team

I have to say, the last few weeks have really done some wonderful things for my self esteem. Right after Ballroom Dance Channel went live, I wondered why the site needed me. We had just hired a marketing firm that was changing so much of what I worked hard to put in place at the Social part of the site, and I felt like I needed to fight for everything I wanted to keep. Before I took this job,… Continue

Have you ever wanted to learn to dance like the stars?

For many of us that follow Dancing with the Stars, it's a secret (or not so secret) desire to learn to dance like the celebrities that keeps us watching. Whether you aspire to be Brooke Burke, or sympathize with the struggles of Susan Lucci to break free, there is a way you can learn from some of the spectacular pros that teach the celebs to look good. Ballroom Dance Channel was created with this goal in mind. For just $4.99 per dance, you can learn salsa, rumba, waltz, swing, foxtrot, bolero, t… Continue

Hi! I saw your note about feeedback and stuff. Although this has nothing to do with that topic it is more of an apology about a lack of feedback. I have not gotten on line in quite some time. You know the usual mom timing. I am ready for a vacation just to breathe.

That's really cool how you got to be friends with Tony.

On BDC, are all they sell is the 4.99 dance instructions, do they sell anything else?

Thanks Sharon. I'll pass on the links in my twitter some time, try to find out who like that sort of thing and pass the good word :)

I've read your posts. Very interesting stuff. I had no idea you were involved so much with the radio interviews and such. Have you met with dance and dance industry professionals?

WELCOME TO TWITTERMOMS!

By the way, do you draw, paint, take photos, etc? How about the kids? Looking for original art for Art Cards for Soldiers!

Soldiers serving abroad have many needs, but one of the ones that comes at the top of their wish list, are cards to send home to their loved ones. Most soldiers are serving in remote locations with little available in the way of luxuries or basics like writing materials. This gives the soldiers a way to celebrate the occasions they’re missing.

Rather than shop the isles at Hallmark, we have called in the favors of artist friends and are providing beautiful, original art cards made especially for them, to theses brave and wonderful men and women as our way of saying
thanks.

We’ll send these to any active service member through eMail our Military, and soon you’ll be able to purchase a set to have sent by MOM to a deserving soldier or you can purchase them for your own use! We’re so excited to be providing these beautiful art cards to people who deserve only the best for sacrificing so much - time away from the ones they love.

How can you help? We need your original art scanned and sent to us or one card that we can scan. All the details are on the site (see below) or email if you have questions.

Special thanks to the artists for sharing their amazing talents and eMail our Military for supporting this effort.

Visit the ART CARDS FOR SOLDIERS site to see the artwork already donated and for details and PLEASE PASS THIS ON! It would make a great kid project - Scouts, Church, etc.

Hi Sharon!

Thank you so much, it means a lot. Were you always a working at home mother?

How'd you get involved with BDC?

It's real interesting, I'm talking with a girl right now who's passion is dance.
