SKIING with Toddlers

Wow, I just took my 3 year old downhill skiing for the first time. Now I am a fit momma, but my legs were burning-having to carry her up the lift, pole pull her and have her ski between my legs. This was a kick in the ASS reminder to change your workout often and the best program out there is the one you are not on- due to adaptation. Well she loved it.
I have taken her ice skating 2x this week as well for the first time, I want to make sure she understands the ACTIVE LIFESTYLE.

Hey Lady, Glad to hear you are well. Isn't it a drag when your site is out of your control?? When one of my sites was hijacked in the spring I thought I'd go crazy. It's still being adjusted.

Summer is such a crazy time. You want to slow down, hang with the kids but in some ways its a great time for business. I Hope that I am balancing things well. More later!

Jessica,
I'm ready to discuss the affiliate program. I tried to DM on twitter, but it wouldn't let me. I'll try to visit your site and send e-mail.

I am totally open for an affiliate program. Haven't set one up yet, so I'd need to figure it out, but that's no problem. Whenever you'd like to talk more, let me know. At the risk of sounding egotistical, I love talking about Bedrest Comfort & Care. I've been wanting to do this for years. Now that it's finally up and going I'm so excited I could burst!! High risk pregnancy support is so overdue. I'm glad that I can fill this niche.

Hi Baby Bump,
I just accepted your friend invitation, but beforehand hit the wrong button and accidentally sent a friend request. Just disregard.

Great work you're doing. Sounds like we have much in common. Looking forward to networking more. Thanks for the invite!!

A backyard raspberry patch? Sounds wonderful! So adorable to have you 3 yr harvest and deliver your cooking herbs :) When do you start planting there? Trading vegs with neighbors is a fabulous idea.

Good for you, getting your baby all that great nutrition via bone broths! And good for you making those broths (and working out!) a priority in your busy schedule. I walked today but haven't worked out yet, so had best 'git'.

Blessings!

Yeah, I get pretty excited about what amazing benefits a simple food can provide!

Cool that you make bone broth, too :)

Curious, do you do any gardening? I'm just getting started on Sq Ft Gardening, gathering
materials for it. Got my composting bin started. I'm extremely impressed by the Dervae family
in So. California and their urban homesteading www.pathtofreedom.com I think it is.

Gorgeous rain all day today. Appreciated my sacred solitude time all morning, then spent all afternoon in cool discussion with my 15 yr old, she's such a kick. Such an amazing thinker. Spent time on the phone tonight with my daughter that's in your area. Then got my husband off to work.

How about you, was today good to you? :)

Blessings!

Gradually getting a feel for Ontario via maps and what my daughter and my friends there tell me :)

My initial experience with ginger tea was similar to yours. It definitely shifted, for the better, when I tried the recipe in Nourishing Traditions, by Sally Fallon. That book is the basis of what most of us talk about in the Nourishing Moms group. Have you seen it?

I think I know what you mean about tips for healthier and tastier. AND I must include, easier! It's a busy, busy world and people need 'do-able' in the mix as they seek to improve their nutrition, yes?
So, my goal is to find ways to streamline so I can share what I learn along the way, to make it easier for others who perhaps don't have the experience I have and aren't sure about their steps that direction.

The Nourishing Moms group is quite new and I hope to see a lot more recipes and/or other resources for "QUICK!" meals posted there.

Simply having what I consider THE most important piece, 24 hr.bone broth as the backbone of the kitchen, enhances much of the rest of our cooking. Adding it to stir-frys and soups and whatever needs liquid, gives the food more flavor as well as amazingly beneficial nutrients. Even if the bone broth itself is not all that tasty. Funny how that works!

I look forward to talking more with you soon!

Blessings on your weekend...
