Do you have a Twitter account? What do you tweet about?

I tweet about my fight with breast cancer and becoming a mom for the first time. I have been trying to find more people to follow me so that I can spread awareness:

I think a lot of people have the impression Israel is all desert. Kinda funny, but I've shifted into a place of being cool with traveling to new or familiar places or staying local. Today went to the river for the afternoon/evening, only 30 min from here, had a glorious time doing nothing except sit/lie right next to it with my husband, listening to the rushing water and the birds calling, watching the sun on the river, soaking up the sunshine and the hot air from the foothills mixed with cool drafts coming up off the cold river...

My daughter is totally submerged in an audio book now, one of the Sword of Truth series, and excited about a sewing project she's hand-stitching while she listens. She lost one of her big sister's drawstring backpack when we all did a hike above Donner Lake (near Tahoe) last month, and instead of buying a replacement, opted to make it. Doing a decent job of it, so far.

She likes to write poetry and fiction. I generally like to write of real life experiences, usually with a bit of humor to it. How about you?

My kid's unschooling looks like real life :) She loves to read so always has books going. She loves to create so often has a project or three going. Including writing a novel. She is a serious fencer. She has her own business. She's decided to put herself thru Le Cordon Bleu cooking course so bugs me to buy the ingreds and cooks the dishes (yum!) If she feels like doing nothing, she does nothing. Sometimes for a long time. And I mean really long time. Sometimes it's been for days or weeks. Or longer. It's been challenging to trust her to choose what's best for her. And I'm so glad I have. Cuz she does! And all this doing nothing time has actually been profitable! Plenty of time to think. And I'm so, so pleased with what she comes up with...

Have you seen www.holtgws.com? I started reading Holt's books decades ago, noticed a progression thru the years, and he ended up with the unschooling approach. How old are
your children?

Glad you liked my blog story. Where have you most enjoyed traveling?

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Blessings...

Welcome to our WAHM group, Beth. I like your blog post with the fun wedding dance youtube. My daughter's wedding definitely was a joyous celebration, Ren style, a fairy tale in the woods and lots of play :)

Look forward to getting to know you.
